A few decades ago, when I was working in the Reagan administration as chief of staff to Attorney General Ed Meese, I argued strenuously against a deal with the congressional Democrats where the administration would agree to grant citizenship to 2.3 million illegal aliens in exchange for promised funds to better secure the border. President Reagan did as promised, but the Democrats reneged.
Nonetheless, I will always adore President Reagan. He was truly a great president and did wonderful things for our country and around the world.
I have my disagreements with the MOU, and I do not believe the Iranian regime will ever honor any agreement anyway, but I adore President Trump and always will. He is a great president and he, too, is doing great things for our country and around the world.
It doesn't matter where the $300 billion comes from or how it gets there.
What matters is that this Trump-Iran “DEAL” facilitates and authorizes access to that money for the world's largest state sponsor of terrorism.
Even if we assume every dollar comes from Iran’s own oil sales, it still doesn't matter. Terrorists should never be given greater access to money and resources.
And let's be clear: Iran doesn't need a nuclear weapon to fund, support, and carry out terrorism. It has been doing exactly that for the past 47 years without one.
Anyone who believes a 47-year-old terrorist regime can be transformed through "checks and balances," verification mechanisms, or monitoring schemes is a fool.
After years of tough talk about fighting terrorism, the Trump administration is now helping empower it.

Are you high?
Serious question.
Or are you a Democrat because you sound identical to Barak Obama.
You want to appease the Iranian regime while wagging your finger at Israel?
Tell me when the last time Israel attacked anyone without being provoked? Never.
Honestly, if you don’t have the moral clarity to differentiate between who the good guy is and who the bad guy is, you should join the left.
Agreements Iran broke:
The 2003–2004 Paris and Tehran agreements with the EU3 (Britain, France, Germany), where Iran agreed to suspend uranium enrichment and then resumed it in 2005–2006.
The 2015 JCPOA. Iran exceeded enrichment caps, stockpile limits, and advanced-centrifuge restrictions. Not to mention the secret weapons stockpile that was discovered.
The 2025 negotiations that collapsed when Iran moved to ramp up enrichment.
The ceasefire announced June 24, 2025. Serious violations took place in the initial hours of the ceasefire, killing 16 people in Iran and 4 in Israel.
Various de-escalation arrangements in Syria’s civil war (the “de-escalation zones” agreed with Russia and Turkey from 2017) where Iranian-backed forces kept operating.
Iraqi ceasefire/militia-integration understandings where IRGC-aligned militias (Kataib Hezbollah, etc.) kept attacking US positions.
Lebanon and the Houthi front, where Iran is accused of arming proxies in violation of arms embargoes and truces.
UN arms-embargo and missile-restriction commitments under Resolution 2231 Iran disregarded.
Iran has never kept ONE single agreement.
And they’ll never have to because weak leaders will just blame Israel. What incentive do they have to comply? None.
The fact that you want to make this about Israel makes you a prime candidate for the Obama Administration.
Do better.
That’s not the point. The question is whether they get money from sanctions relief - even if it isn't American taxpayer money. If the answer is yes, then Trump is allowing Iran to get a lot of money. And we know from Obama’s deal what they do with the money
🚨 IT'S OFFICIAL: $0 AMERICAN DOLLARS are going to Iran, President Trump confirms
The $300 billion was a TOTAL LIE!
"We are NOT investing ANY MONEY in Iran, by the way. That rumor got out, it was ridiculous!"
"We have NO obligation to invest any money in Iran."
.@POTUS: "Qatar's going to be investing much more than a trillion dollars in the United States... we've been friends for a long time, we've known each other for a long time—but Qatar is investing tremendous amounts of money in our country, and we appreciate that."
I’m kind of glad Trump is stupid enough to remind everyone how bad the Obama-Iran deal was. It was bad because it relied on the honesty of the regime while pretending not to. Trump is doing the same damn thing and stupidly pointing it out to everyone by accident
BREAKING: President Trump vows to hold a press conference to read the full memorandum of understanding with Iran word-by-word to make sure the media covers it fairly.
"I will actually not only release it, I'll probably have a press conference and read it to you word-by-word, so that the press covers it accurately, because it's, it's a very important document."
"And, unlike Obama, who could have destroyed the Middle East with a horrible JCPoA, it is the worst agreement that was a road to a nuclear weapon. Mine is a wall against a nuclear weapon."

So the UK is exempting BlueSky for their social media ban for under 16 year olds.
X is banned for Under-16s. As is Facebook, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, Threads, Snapchat, Reddit….but BlueSky is somehow okay for kids?
There are loads of perverts who call themselves “Minor Attracted Persons” on BlueSky. There are daily celebrations of murder and violence.
By what standards does a social media site either make the ban list or the exemption list?
Ask @Keir_Starmer
I think @iranidaturan spotted the reason in Trumps interview with the NYT where he thanked China for not running the blockage.
If you go back and look, Treasury Secretary Bessent met with the Chinese VP in the middle of March. Maybe that's it?
I'm with you tho. Bomb IRGC more!
I still believe something shifted around the middle of March, when suddenly drone attacks on regime police stations and basiji units stopped.
It was an extremely effective strategy and it would have worked. But then it all ground to a halt.
What happened back then?

I have a hard time believing he really worked in intelligence, as he says. He is one of the dumbest analysts out there. Maybe he was the janitor or something
"[Trump said Xi Jinping] 'didn’t send a tanker, along with 20 destroyers on each side of it, to try and break up the blockade,' ...This must answer ur question that why he ended the blockade, probably cause China would not tolerate it any longer."
There it is - the missing piece
Yesterday Trump did an interview with the New York Times where he said some very important things that I don’t see covered anywhere.
Instead, everyone is busy covering the regime’s propaganda, which is really shameful.
In the 28-minute phone conversation that President Trump initiated from the White House residence, he made several statements:
1. Trump emphasized that if the regime kills protesters, it will prevent them from getting full sanctions relief and access to $25 billion in frozen funds. He insisted that Iran would receive no relief from sanctions or release of its frozen financial assets until it delivered on its commitments.
2. Trump openly acknowledged what he had said on the opening day of the war, when he urged the Iranian people to rise up and take over their government once the American and Israeli bombing was complete.
He admitted he had said that, but went on to note that the Iranian people did not have access to arms, and would be slaughtered if they tried.
3. Trump made it clear he is ready to restart military attacks. He insisted that if Iran failed to reach a final nuclear accord with the United States, he would restart military attacks on Tehran.
His finger remains on the trigger.
4. Trump praised Chinese President Xi Jinping and called him “a total gentleman.” He said: “He didn’t send a tanker, along with 20 destroyers on each side of it, to try and break up the blockade,” noting that Xi helped (or at least did not interfere) in the settlement.
This must answer your question that why he ended the blockade, probably cause China would not tolerate it any longer.
5. The most important and interesting point: Trump said that if Iran does not reach a final deal, he would make the United States “the guardian of the Middle East” in return for 20 percent of the region’s revenues.
He described this as turning American protection of the region, and the U.S. nuclear umbrella, into a paid police force, there in return for profit. This is a very Trumpian departure from post-World War II American tradition.
This last point is especially significant. Trump is directly telling the Arabs and others who want the regime to stay in power and who are not seriously helping with regime change: “Okay, I’ll handle security for the region, but I’m not doing it for free.”
He knows exactly what game some of these countries are playing, continuing to fund or tolerate the regime and regional proxies to keep Iran destabilized and weak.
Trump has read their hand, and he is putting a clear price tag on America’s role as the region’s guardian.
The full interview contains even more details that deserve attention rather than the regime’s narrative being pushed everywhere.

President Trump is cooking the Islamic regime from the inside, deepening the fractures by pressing it from outside.
Those who don’t know the regime don’t know where to look for the cracks, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t there.
Since Trump reposted Foreign Minister Araghchi’s post, I’ve been waiting for exactly these:
+ In Mashhad, regime hardliners, Khamenei’s loyal ‘orcs’, gathered in front of the Foreign Ministry chanting “Death to the infiltrator Araghchi!”, “Death to the dishonorable traitor!”, and openly calling for his execution.
+ Regime’s hardliner’s chat groups are flooded with calls for more protests nationwide.
+ In reaction, Police Chief Radan has already warned that anyone demonstrating against “national unity” and the deal will be crushed. Now you see why Radan is still alive?
Here is what you need to know: In his final years, Khamenei had become extremely paranoid. He had built the IRGC to protect the regime, yet he feared it more than anything. So he deliberately fragmented power inside the IRGC so no single person or faction could concentrate money and control. He played different “gangs” against each other, constantly managing their rivalries.
At the same time, he bred a special layer of extremely brutal, loyal orcs recruited from the poor, marginalized, and mentally unstable underclass, people loyal only to him personally. These were his ultimate tool to keep the rest in check.
Now that he is gone, the power vacuum has triggered open war. These orcs answer to no one else. A cartel inside the regime had already surrounded Khamenei, eliminated serious rivals (the 2024 helicopter crash that killed Raisi, his only real successor, and the hardline Foreign Minister Abdollahian), and effectively sold him out to the US.
Khamenei’s orcs are not stupid. They can clearly see what happened, which is why they call Araghchi exactly what he is: an infiltrator and traitor. They know they are being sold out.
After the ceasefire they needed time to reorganize. Trump is now pressuring them to sort it out. The bloody “pigs’ war” for the top seat and the billions in oil money, smuggling, and sanctions-busting is approaching.
And it will hopefully mean they eliminate and weaken each other without a single American or Israeli soldier being put at risk, and without Iranian protesters having to bleed in the streets.
It’s slow, but it works.
Trump said it again: he wants Americans to go inside Iran to take the uranium. If that happens in non-war conditions, it’s game over for the regime. They won’t be able to suppress the population with Americans watching, and arming Iranians becomes far easier, no need for treacherous middlemen like the Kurds anymore.
Let Trump cook. Hopefully these terrorists finish each other off.
P.S. The hardliner women are wearing kafan on top of their Chador, the white burial shrouds Muslims use to wrap corpses before burial. By wearing it themselves, they signal they are ready for martyrdom and death in defense of the regime.
As always, Trump is impulsive and impressionable. He swings from greatness to retardation and back. It’s a shame, because he always losses his chance to make a lasting mark for good
For the bots, antisemites, and other crackpots here, just so you know, I support Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan. I have always opposed terrorists, fascists, and communists. I hope this helps, but I doubt it. This is what we red-blooded Americans believe. Screw yourselves.
