It’s a complicated process. They’d rather just hire us and get it done right. We also know exactly what to see when we first meet with the sheriff. This process takes several days to get perfectly organized. Part of the problem is, there’s too much of a gray area between a squatter and a tenant and squatters purposely take advantage of the system. We are simply here to help for those that want fast and effective help.
This was a monumental job for us and one big step for California in the fight for private property rights. We have a lot of footage to sift through still, but here is a preview of what went down two days ago. Also, our client was very happy and relieved because we helped him avoid a costly eviction process, which was his only option until he found us. Months of lost rent and legal and court fees would have been financially devastating for him.
A crafty squatter bilked his landlord of at least $72,000 in rent for his Lower East Side apartment — then made tens of thousands in profit by subletting the unit, the owner charges.
For three years, computer programmer Thor Boucher hasn’t paid a cent of his bargain-rate $2,000-a-month, two-bedroom, one-bathroom Essex Street pad, claiming he didn’t have to because the building was noisy and shook, according to landlord Ed Yau and Manhattan Civil Court documents.
The alleged freeloader had no qualms renting the space out, though, charging as much as $1950 per room monthly since November 2021 on platforms including Airbnb and Craigslist.

This is the evening time of our job from last Saturday’s Drug Den D-Day job. The druggies came back at about 8:15 PM to overtake the house. They had guns and more guys coming and were out to do harm. One of our guys that carries had already left so we had limited protection. We were waiting on others to take over and stay the night. There was a lot of chaos and my remaining guy and I managed to escape out a door once they penetrated the house. The cops arrived about 1.5 hours later and did not want to even escort us back into the house to get important items. So I walked down and entered the house on my own and there was someone different in there. I shined my light in his face and told him he has to leave and at that point one of the cops did offer some help and maybe he saved my life. He cuffed the guy long enough for me to get my things. The cops let him go after I got into my truck, then all the sudden I see him in my rear view mirror coming after me. I got the hell out of there of course, but what a night.
This is just a quick preview of a case we have been working on for the past 3 weeks. We successfully ousted about 14 people from this house. We found coke on a marble countertop and other drug paraphernalia. With this case, we had one day of discovery, one day of negotiations, and one day of getting them all out. We also changed the locks, put up no trespassing signs, and boarded up broken windows. Lastly, we installed a wireless security system. Video by Squatter Squad
NO TRESPASSING signs are more important than you may realize. Without them means “welcome, come on in” and with them, it gives a trespasser notice that they are trespassing. Now it’s willful trespassing and police officers can effectively do their job.
Our client from a case we are working on took us to lunch today. He wanted to share his frustrations with being a real estate investor in Los Angeles County.
We will have t-shirts available soon. All proceeds will go to a fund to assist certain individuals needing help battling unlawful occupation of a property. More will be explained about this fund soon.
We were mentioned on the Tom Sullivan Show yesterday. I’ve never heard of this show, but a lot of random people across the US called to tell us. Thank you to the caller on his program for mentioning us and thank you to Mr. Sullivan for discussing us further.
It’s interesting to see all of these posts about our company and it just shows us all how the need to solve such a big problem is long overdue. I’m posting a clip from this particular guy because he kinda of sums us up pretty well. I cut his clip short though.
Updates:
We are working on our second squatter case. It’s in Los Angeles and a large two story home with I’m guessing 20 squatters. We have another job starting next week in Hollywood. It’s an Airbnb situation. The guy used a fake ID to gain access to the place and even moved all of his own furniture in. The police won’t help. We will get him and his cat out in no time.
We are also taking on a case in Central California. It’s more of a charity case and outside of our work area, but if we don’t get these squatters out, the woman will most likely lose her home.
