@visegrad24 As with many a dying soldier on the battlefield with no chance of survival, the police could have made him comfortable as he lay dying, and iven him some words of comfort, instead of arresting him, cuffing him and dragging him.
@colinrtalbot For the youngsters whose history is sketchy, Indian Sepoy Regiments served in the First World War and Indians also served in the British Indian Army during World War Two.
@colinrtalbot How long have Sikhs lived among us in Britain? My guess since around 1919. Definitely, after the Second World War, many Sikhs settled here after helping our country.
Has there ever been a problem with Sikhs terrorising people with their Kirpans before? Has there bollocks!
@GaryMerseybox As a Train Manager, I can say that six or seven disabled people, and maybe fifty to sixty uncertain people (am I on the right train? How do I connect at? I’m on the wrong train, how do I get back to?) are glad of my help every single working day. It’s why I love my job!
@Clifftons@danielanadj77 My friend is a Spanish Passport holder. He tells me arriving at Heathrow is a real pain nowadays. He doesn’t blame us for Brexit though, says he wishes Spain would come out of the EU as well……..
@VinnieSull1van@Lost___London Since the IRA’s bombing campaign of the 1970’s, there is a danger associated with bins as shrapnel damage can cause carnage. Clear, strong, plastic bin bags attached to lampposts, bus stops and road signs would have helped reduce the dropped litter.
@anon_opin The problem is, you don’t get a blue badge for a temporary disability - that is what needs changing. Blue badges should be reviewed every year as there are many holders who clearly don’t need them!
