@BethinSac Teen brought it home from school. He had to wear a mask in school but not while eating. He had Tuesday. Husband and I showed symptoms by Saturday. Other teen never got it.

@MrsSteak Those clubs were specific to their high school. Anyways, my beef was "parents peaked". I'm glad your kids aren't missing the school connection. Mine are. Doesn't make me less of a person.

@MrsSteak My kids are missing out on a ton of good stuff. Outdoor club, games club, trivia club, and just hanging out. Doesn't mean I 'peaked' in high school. They've missed a lot. Even just the chance to develop high school crushes.

@cmclymer Best Christmas as parents- Uncle gave kid a huge marble run. Husband and I spent Boxing Day sitting on the floor, drinking whiskey, putting it together. Then because it was put together, we got to leave it at Gramma's house. Seriously, one on my favourite Christmas memories.

@cmclymer I replied to a work email, and used they/them and your spouse. and received a very lovely email back thanking me for not assuming anything. Its a work in a progress, but I'm trying.. and its not particularly hard to make sure I'm getting it right.

@gfrancie We do easy meals on Christmas Day, and a turkey in the week between Christmas and New Years. I get to enjoy Christmas day. And we get turkey. Best of both worlds. Last couple of years kid has made mac n herself from scratch.
