@Comey You owe the American public at least that much. And congrats on your book sales. Would that we could all benefit from our most egregious errors and for struggling to survive the nation's current political and economic climate in the way you have. You. #Coward.
@Comey Your legacy is your enabling Trump to enter the White House. Your lack of voice, particularly at this time, displays only cowardice. You may not consider yourself "political", but you remain in a position of political influence. So, for the love of God, use it.
@Comey Of course we can blame Trump and his cast of criminals, but that's the obvious choice. It's those who enabled his campaign of fear, racism, and misogyny who hold the responsibility of where we are now. If you think your books somehow redeem you... think again.
@Comey Your political inaction at this time speaks volumes, and your integrity is all but gone. I hope you sleep well at night, Mr. Comey. Millions of your countrymen do not, and oh so many have you to thank for their woes, from loss of loved ones to Covid to financial hardship.
@Comey Your silence at this time only serves to lessen any respect you once had as FBI Director. The office in which you served may be appointed, but we all know which side of the partisan fence on which you stand. So you go ahead and hide behind your book and other deals.
@Comey What in God's name were you thinking? Of course we cannot redo the past, but at the VERY least. you should be speaking out against the Trump/MAGA insanity. If you have a conscience, if you have integrity, if you have a pair, start being vocal, apologize to your countrymen.
@Comey Now you know that it only takes the actions of one to bring the country to its knees and cause the American people tremendous fear of what's to come. You didn't directly cause DT's election, but you enabled it to happen... you empowered him AND his base.
@Comey Look, I'm not a Hillary fan. But, thanks to you, look at who you helped elect, and if we were voting for the lesser of 2 evils (as is usually the case), this country would be in far better shape. We wouldn't now fear the loss of our democracy.
@Comey Your 6-figure salary, if invested well, could have taken care of you and your family for a lifetime. Do not attempt to placate the public and claim your announcement of a new investigation into the Dem POTUS nominee was anything but your need for the spotlight.
@Comey At what point did you choose to abandon all common sense? Your integrity was not at play, but your ego was. I'd think common sense is beyond essential for an FBI Director. So, let's see... book deals, movie deal, Social Security in 4 years... and you're worth $14 Million.
@Comey You could have (again, as your own staff suggested), conducted an investigation into Hilary's emails in order to confirm or deny that these were the same emails previously investigated, which obviously brought no charge against Sen. Clinton.
@Comey You knew, before investigating, with a significant degree of certainty, that the new emails discovered on Huma Abedin's laptop. No one strong-armed you to announce your investigation. In fact, your own staff express tremendous concern in doing so...
Hey @Comey, you happy now, buddy? Feel as though you're integrity is intact? Hmm... book deals, a streaming drama, "The Comedy Rule". You, Sir, are singularly responsible for where this country stands today, by empowering the Trump 2016 campaign. You knew exactly who Trump is...
