Recently, bearish notes and rumors on NAND appear to be circulating, particularly out of China, along with negative news related to QLC price negotiations.

A few points are worth clarifying.

It should come as no surprise that SanDisk would sign an LTA with Meta at a price below its initial quote. Among NAND manufacturers, SanDisk is the most proactive in securing LTAs and plans to allocate more than 50% of its total volume to such agreements. Given this strategy, SanDisk is clearly willing to accept LTA pricing below the prevailing quarterly contract price.

Accordingly, I believe it is unreasonable to extrapolate from this that SanDisk cannot seamlessly redirect the entire volume to higher-paying North American customers.

Chinese module makers were reportedly turned down when they attempted to sell more eSSDs to Chinese CSPs. My understanding is that this is because Chinese CSPs have direct procurement channels with YMTC.

There have also been recent reports that hyperscalers are pushing back against QLC eSSD prices, leaving some volume unabsorbed. However, my understanding is that neocloud providers have sufficient demand to absorb this volume.

With memory stocks performing poorly, negative headlines seem to be gaining even more traction. I remain bullish on memory.

Everything makes sense when you consider the following seven immutable truths:

1. A large majority of native-born Americans strongly oppose Democrat policies.

2. The only way Democrats can win national elections is to import new voters, both legal and illegal.
