Bands don’t succeed. Just statistically. So after the surprise indie success of our album Take This To Your Grave, I was sure there was no way but down from there. I was certain we couldn’t possibly match the success we’d had with that album. So I barely bothered considering it as a possibility, I just went in to write and record an album I enjoyed. I told my parents “I swear, just one more semester off and then I’ll go to college.” When “Sugar, We’re Goin Down,” premiered on MTV’s TRL I could tell that I probably wasn’t going to make it to college after all.
Happy 20th anniversary to From Under The Cork Tree, the album that changed everything. You turned it into something so much bigger than us, and for that we’re forever grateful.
We’re working on some cool things to keep the celebration going later this year, but more on that later. Here’s to the next chapter 🌳🖤.

For those who are asking or hoping for Projekt Caramel, we’ve collectively decided this would be in poor taste.
It would take a song Vessel has written about his own experience and in turn make it about us.
This song is for Vessel to speak and us to listen.

Vessel, thank you for showing that doing better does not mean you are better.
I hope for even a fraction of your day you can feel proud of where you are now.

People mad at @bbnomula for cosplaying in fandoms he's not a part of when it was actually me who chose his cosplays based on my hyper fixations.
He's my Barbie doll and I'm not gonna stop.
