Since becoming Maharashtra's FDA Commissioner, the department has suddenly come alive. Raids are no longer symbolic they're relentless.

🚨 Synthetic milk rackets exposed.
🚨 Banned gutkha networks busted.
🚨 Adulterated food seized.
🚨 Unlicensed manufacturers stopped.
🚨 Restaurants & food businesses violating basic hygiene norms facing action.
🚨 Crores worth of illegal products seized, hundreds of raids conducted, and hundreds arrested in statewide enforcement drives.

What's remarkable isn't just the number of raids.

It's the change in mindset.

For the first time in a long time, businesses cutting corners are worried that the FDA might actually show up.

That's what real governance looks like not loud speeches, but visible enforcement.

You may agree or disagree with Tukaram Munde's style.

But it's hard to ignore the impact of an officer who has been transferred around 25 times in 21 years and still chooses duty over convenience.

Maharashtra doesn't need more headlines.

It needs more officers who make the law matter.

Filed my ITR today.

Paid income tax more than my fresher year CTC.

In return, now I'll have to struggle to get my own PF money back. Can't send my future kids to government school because we all know the condition. Can't depend on a government hospital if I want good treatment. To drive on good roads, still have to pay toll. Have to buy an air purifier and water purifier because air and water around me are polluted.

Feels very unrewarding to be a taxpayer. There should be some reward for people who pay a good chunk of their income in taxes every year.

Most of the times platforms miss simple things.

They don’t even show the performance correctly.

In one of the platforms they show that return of 24.71 % is lower than 21.68 %, 22.12 %, 21.75 %, 17.43 %, 18.02 %, 4 %, 10.88 %, 15.99 %, 13.66 %, 6.37 %, 13.97 %, 8.64 %, 19.27 %, 15.24 %, 9.44%, 20.75 %, 20.76 %, 12.76%,17.68% and 14.73%.
