Some of the ways for a developer sitting in India to make generational wealth:

- join a frontier lab - openai, anthropic, deepmind, etc.
difficulty: high, chances of success: 90%

- do a masters from the US, then get a job there
difficulty: high, chances of success: 70%

- early employee at a fast growing startup, take ESOPs over salary
difficulty: medium, chances of success: 40%

- build a micro SaaS and sell to US customers in dollars
difficulty: medium, chances of success: 30%

- start your own company and stay in the game for 10 years
difficulty: very high, chances of success: 10%

- freelance or consult for US clients at dollar rates, invest every rupee of it
