It takes a minimum of Rs 9 crore to run our Parliament for one day. The parliament barely functioned in the monsoon session.

The estimated waste of taxpayers money in this session alone is between 150 and 175 crore rupees. The opportunity cost of not raising issues/passing bills is unquantifiable.

The country desperately needs a law that has severe consequences for MPs in monetary terms as well in terms of disqualification for not letting the Parliament function or for not having a minimum attendance.

I use this road often. Have never seen any dog chasing scooters or pedestrians. Even in the video, they are probably sitting around in a designated feeding spot waiting for a meal. I know several people and vets who feed and take care of them. Mostly vaccinated.

The editor of @the_hindu thinks dogs are supposed to run sterilisation programs, dogs are supposed to ensure authentic vaccines are circulated. He calls helpless stray animals pests,instead of demanding accountability from the local authorities on ABC (he calls the policy stupid)

Have you folks seen this video?? @SirRaunaqRajani and his wife being beaten up by the cops for no reason. His wife got a rib fracture because MALE police officer kicked her on the ribs and it is all recorded on video!! People are mad about abusive language being used in peaceful protests. What else do you want? People to lay down on the ground themselves so the cops can remove the frustration of the politicians and their seniors on the innocent citizens???? Look at this innocent community dog, peacefully sleeping and posing no threat to anyone, yet this child walks up and hits him.

If you ask who is at fault here, it is not the child alone. The bigger responsibility lies with the parents or guardians who watched it happen, smiled, and didn't stop the behavior or explain why it was wrong.

This child should be gently counselled today so that he learns the true meaning of compassion, empathy, and respect for every living being. Children are not born cruel they learn from the environment around them.

If a child can hit a helpless animal in front of you and you remain silent, it reflects a missed opportunity to teach kindness.

And imagine if this frightened dog had reacted in self-defence. The entire world would blame the dog, while forgetting what led to that moment.

Let's raise children who protect animals, not hurt them. Let's teach empathy before anger, kindness before cruelty, and responsibility before excuses.

Be kind. Be compassionate. Above all, be a responsible parent. ❤️
