Yesterday after the T20WC squad was announced we allowed noise to settle before jumping on conclusions but however times you watch it - what Dinesh Karthik was trying to imply was unfair & uncalled for.

Rinku Singh has a T20i average of 42.3 and 162 SR who was dropped from the T20i squad earlier to accommodate the combination of Gill and Jitesh in the XI. As soon as the team management decided to stick to the old way, Rinku Singh had to comeback.

Dinesh Karthik being an ex cricketer and professional knows this thoroughly but to question the authenticity of his selection was abominable. We hope Rinku Singh didn't watch his video. Imagine you hear your first KKR captain talking like that about you.

Lastly, Dinesh Karthik is a part of a team who retains POCSO and sexually accused player and has no problem with that but hell breaks loose when a deserving player comes back to secure his place. To think an ex cricketer would direct a mob towards questioning the position of a player is anyways not professional but to do that because your franchise player missed out and get some social media clout is dreadful.

And lest you forget, KKR before the WC 2019 selection meeting were making graphics and stats about how DK has fared and this is how he bites a KKR player.
