@dbzebra2 I did a playthrough of Gold a few years ago and, despite having both Stadium’s as a kid, for the first time ever imported Pokemon to Stadium 2. It felt awesome. Never 100%’d it though.
Imported from where??? Also this just happened- 2500 people just lost their jobs as Tyson Foods is shutting down its beef processing plant in Joslin, Illinois (near the Quad Cities in Rock Island County), resulting in roughly 2,500 job losses.
The company announced the permanent closure on August 13, 2026, as part of a broader restructuring of its beef operations. It is also ending operations at a case-ready facility in Eagle Mountain, Utah, and seeking to sell its plant in Pasco, Washington. Tyson plans to concentrate U.S. beef production around three facilities in Dakota City, Nebraska; Holcomb, Kansas; and Amarillo, Texas.
The main reason cited is a severe, prolonged U.S. cattle shortage (one of the most historic in decades), with declining inventories and limited heifer retention expected to continue. This has contributed to heavy losses in Tyson’s beef segment.
Workers at the Joslin plant (which had operated since 1983 and processed around 3,000 head of cattle daily) received little to no advance notice—many learned of the closure when they arrived for shifts.
TRUMP JUST CUT A DEAL ON GROUND BEEF.
For the next 90 days, the U.S. will allow up to 300,000 metric tons of ground beef in with no out-of-quota tariff.
That beef will be sold at 25% below current market prices.
This does two things at once:
- Lowers the price at the grocery store for working families
- Gives American ranchers breathing room to rebuild the cattle herd that got crushed under Biden
Biden left us with record-high beef prices and the smallest herd in modern history. Trump is fixing both.
This is how you put Americans first.
@ChloesPlanet It's something but imported is key to be somewhat wary though as we must help our farmers in the US. That's where we need to focus.

@TeamTrump47 Why do we need to eat beef subject to tariff which means it’s being imported?
Trump Announces Deal To Cut Ground Beef Prices
President Trump announced a new 90-day agreement aimed at lowering ground beef prices for American families. Under the plan, the U.S. will allow up to 300,000 metric tons of beef used for ground beef to be imported without the usual out-of-quota tariff.

@Sammy_canada2 He proves that the imported poverty wage workers are degrading our beautiful county just with presence.
Trump says he has reached a deal to substantially cut ground beef prices for American families. For 90 days, the U.S. will allow up to 300,000 metric tons to be imported without the out-of-quota tariff, with a commitment to sell it 25% below current market prices. Trump says the move will lower costs while allowing the U.S. cattle herd to rebuild

@ProjectLincoln Imported from where? Is it beef, or "beef"? Never been so glad to be a vegetarian (except that produce is also now on the do-not-ingest list).
@mattvanswol I moved from Asheville in 2018. There were always homeless downtown, but now they’re everywhere. Asheville defunded the police and imported illegals during Covid. The result is what Matt is showing. They’ve become emboldened. I rarely go to Asheville for anything now.
@trader1sz @KobeissiLetter If you actually read his post it says he's allowing 300,000 tons of IMPORTED ground beef without tariffs
Oh great ... imported beef. How many contaminants will be in it? How many sick people will we get? What happens upon the first death from this? Whatever happened to making AMERICA great? I thought imports were BAD for America!!
@FoxNews More imported low quality food. Not a flex and helps no one
@NEWSMAX Great. More beef from shit ass countries being imported. Awesome. SMFH
Glad my little Texas town has a local rancher. Best beef in the world comes from local. I'll continue to buy here at home.
Fascist Argentinian dumped beef being imported to put US adulterated beef producers out of business.
So, in other words, in an effort to lower beef prices, Trump is going to flood the US market with possibly unsafe, foreign beef and drown out US cattle ranchers, causing even less American beef to be produced since they can’t make up their investment.
Brilliant…

@GetachewSS If you want to buy it, ask for the mileage and have it inspected by a Toyota dealer. Also ask about the amount of tax, as the embassy may have imported it tax-free.
@immdaly @jshocds @Nick_Delehanty There is more too it than that in my opinion.
But mark my words we are on the cusp of big changes in this country...thanks to light touch approach to mass migration and local and imported criminality.
The signs are all there .....☹️
