@ealove21 @MsE_HHS Even if I do happen to check an email in the evening or on a weekend, I schedule my reply to send during normal hours. Not the most perfect balance, but I think it at least helps manage expectations of my availability.
We brought a great group to Joplin’s Foreign Language Field Day! Congratulations to our winners and a big thanks to our other competitors and observers for attending! #GoLiberators#VayanLibertadores
¡Feliz Día de los Reyes Magos! These three were the "lucky" ones who found figurines in their slices of the rosca (traditionally they would have to pay for next year's rosca or host a meal for everyone).
The Police in Mallorca, Spain making rounds around villages on lock down to do this 😭
To alleviate the anxiety of the people and to keep them entertained ❤
Join me today in #CelebratingSelena. 🌹✨ I can’t believe it’s been 23 years since this incredible movie came out and 25 years since her passing. Please share your memories of Selena and the movie with me below. Full video: https://t.co/LZt2tPEBYH
I love using quiz, quiz, trade to review asking/answering basic Spanish questions! It also helps students remember each others’ names at the beginning of the school year.
A belated congratulations to the BHS class of 2019! A little over a decade ago, I was an FTA cadet teacher with Mrs. Richards’ kindergarten class without any idea that I’d be starting my first year teaching here with you all as freshmen! #GoLiberators#FirstFreshmen
When your Spanish I students from a few years ago are now Spanish III/IV students performing a short play completely in Spanish 😭 #orgullosa#GoLiberators#VayanLibertadores
Thank you to FLC for letting us play at the Christmas party tonight! And shoutout to everyone who just came for the extra credit and free food but clapped for us anyway. picture credit: @thelibtimes!!

I just learned that "Fred Flintstone" is "Pedro Picapiedra" in Spanish. I love seeing how things are translated! Here,"Picapiedra" basically means "Rockchopper" and "Fred" becomes the Spanish version of "Peter" to maintain the alliteration. Don't even start me on movie titles.
