🚨 BREAKING: Europe will ban cash payments above €10,000 and require identity verification for @Bitcoin transactions starting in 2027.
The move intensifies the global debate over privacy, surveillance, and financial freedom.
This is a big deal. Omega-3s reduce aggressive behavior across randomized controlled trials.
A meta-analysis of 29 studies and nearly 4,000 participants found that omega-3 supplementation reduced aggressive behavior by up to 28%. The benefit was broadly consistent across children and adults, males and females, community and clinical samples, and across different doses and treatment durations. It also helped with both reactive/impulsive and proactive/planned aggression.
Mechanistically, this makes sense. Omega-3s are deeply involved in brain cell membranes, neurotransmission, neuroinflammation, cerebral blood flow, and gene regulation. DHA is especially enriched in the prefrontal cortex (an area critical for impulse control, emotion regulation, and executive function).
The authors even concluded that there is now “sufficient evidence” to begin implementing omega-3 supplementation to reduce aggression in the community, the clinic, or the criminal justice system.
That’s a remarkable statement for a nutritional intervention and a reminder that omega-3s influence brain health and may shape behavior in meaningful ways.
@Aella_Girl It's a great analogy. If you have higher IQ (a faster engine) you can get to the destination faster but if you can't pick the right route you'll also go wrong faster.
Europe loves saying Ukraine has “the strongest military in Europe.”
Fine. Then act like Ukraine is defending Europe now — not like it’s a buffer buying time for Europe to slowly rearm over the next 3–5 years.
Ukraine still lacks enough air defense, long-range capabilities, and strategic support to fully protect its people.
The goal should not be to help Ukraine survive.
The goal should be to increase pressure on Russia now — militarily, economically, and politically — so Russia wants to end this war. #globsec2026
People saying he won’t also need to explain how to stop it, because he won’t stop on his own. Simply hoping it’s not possible ignores what’s been happening in Congress and the Supreme Court for the last year. This year’s midterms must be an overwhelming repudiation.
#russia makes $150 mln/day from oil exports. As oil prices rise, russia makes more. Revenue rose to $9 bln in April. Where does that money go? To fuel the war machine used to kill Ukrainians
And here are the consequences of #US waiver on #russia oil sanctions. #UK is following suit by allowing import of diesel and jet fuel produced from 🇷🇺 oil in third countries. As well as direct import of liquified gas.
What Trump promised: "I'll end Russia's war in Ukraine in 24 hours if you elect me."
What Trump did: "I tried to force Ukraine to capitulate and give Russia everything they want.
When that didn't work I ended all financial support to Ukraine, lifted sanctions of Russia, rolled out the red carpet for Putin, and doubled oil prices so Russia can have more money to continue the war."
Again, there is nothing the United States or its interest or allies gain from supporting Orban. It’s even against the Trump admin's own stated goals, as the WSJ points out. This is purely a Kremlin mission and Trump and Vance are carrying it out obediently.
We will respond to every Russian attack. Global pressure on Russia is decreasing. We see changes in sanctions policy. However, unlike everyone else or many others in the world, Ukraine has its own sanctions – long-range capabilities. The Russians must feel the pressure. If Ukraine does not respond to their strikes either, Russia will simply continue the war and won’t even consider a pause.
From an interview with Reuters (2/5).
Putin must have a big victory to announce, like the one Trump keeps trying to force Ukraine to accept. That would stabilize things for him to prepare for his next attack on Europe. The entire Russian economy, propaganda from kindergarten on up, it’s all for perpetual war.
KASPAROV: "The outcome of the war in Ukraine will affect every struggle for democracy.
The heroic battle of Ukrainian nation led by great President Zelenskyy offered us hope. It demonstrated again, at a very high cost, that nothing can break the will of free people.
Putin made this same mistake as many dictators before him. He underestimated the power of free people, the power of freedom.
While Putin expected to take Kyiv for 3 days, it was very painful to see that Americans and Europeans also expected Ukraine to fall.
Historians will record the Ukrainian war as a turning point when the free world eventually got its act together and resisted the pressure."
Trump lifting sanctions on Russian oil doesn’t help the American people or US allies. It only helps Putin make more money that he then uses to murder Ukrainians and, reportedly, send aid to Iran to murder US forces. He was just waiting for an excuse to do it.
Europe, the United States, and the entire civilized world imposed sanctions on Russia for its aggression. In my view, if these sanctions are lifted, it means we are recognizing the legitimacy of this aggression – that is, one or another state is forgiving Russia for this crime. Of course, as the President of a country that is a victim in this war, and as someone who fundamentally understands that aggression cannot go unpunished, I consider this absolutely unjust.
From a media briefing ahead of the meeting with the President of the German Bundestag, Julia Klöckner (2/3)
What a disgrace. Trump has removed sanctions on russia’s oil.
I am truly sorry to the Ukrainian people.
This is a direct backstabbing of Ukraine.
And it comes after Ukraine agreed to help the United States defend itself and its allies from Iranian drones. Ukraine shared its drone interception technologies and sent three groups of experts, military personnel, and engineers to the Middle East — people who are desperately needed at home to protect Ukrainian civilians from russian drones and missiles.
Instead of standing with Ukraine, Trump just handed a lifeline to the russian economy.
Lifting sanctions on russian oil means billions flowing back into the Kremlin’s war machine. It means more missiles. More drones. More dead Ukrainians.
But sadly, none of this should surprise anyone who has been paying attention.
Trump promised he would end the war in “24 hours.” It has now been well over a year.
He appointed a number of russian assets to his cabinet — such as Tulsi Gabbard, who has been repeating Kremlin propaganda for years; Kash Patel, who has literally been paid by russia; and Steve Witkoff, along with other pro-Kremlin figures.
His administration halted military aid to Ukraine, restricted intelligence sharing, and repeatedly treated Vladimir Putin as a partner instead of the war criminal responsible for Europe’s largest war since World War II. Instead of sanctioning russia, he welcomed a war criminal to the United States with a red carpet. And now the portrait of a war criminal hangs in the White House.
Instead of isolating the Kremlin, Trump has repeatedly chosen to appease it.
And now comes the final step.
Removing sanctions on russian oil while Ukrainians are still dying under russian missiles.
History will remember this moment.
