Strong performance overall from the Tigers today as they completed the Champions' League and Cup double in the @NLJFL .
Boys have been brilliant all season & have put last year's cup defeat behind them.
Credit to finalists Holy Rosary who've been tough opponents all season.

On a tense final day then Tigers managed to secure the U9s Champions League in the @NLJFL
The boys (Bobby D, Eric, Thomas, Lucas, Joseph, Jacob, Jack, Tommy, Bobby D, Bobby G and Noah) have been brilliant in their first season of 7-a-side.

After the disappointment of last week's derby defeat the Tigers roared back today to come from behind and win a very competitive game against Holy Rosary.
Too difficult to pick a POTM so had to ask the ref who gave it to Joseph

I'm a repeat of last year's final, one of today's @NLJFL was a St George's derby.
This time the Tigers prevailed in a hard fought win against the Lions. All the lads put in a shift and Tommy was awarded POTM for providing a constant threat on the left wing 👏💪

Sunny day at Jeffrey Humble in the @NLJFL today and Tigers prevailed over a spirited No. 9 side who's progress you could clearly see from our first game of the season.
Special mentions to Lucas for deputising in goal (and saving a pen) and POTM Jack for endless running and goals

Nice to see the sun shining today (and no sign of wind or rain) as the Tigers took the spoils in the St George's derby.
The boys played some great passing football and Noah earned POTM for goals and assists 👏👏

Although some of our boys have played a lot of games this week with the various tournaments they still managed to overcome a spirited River side today.
POTM was Tommy - a constant threat down the left and bagged a goal 👏👏

Brilliant effort by the Tigers today as they roared to victory in the DXTL Cup in the Let them Play tournament at Jeffrey Humble.
Finished top of our group and only conceded 3 goals across the 6 games.
Every one of them out in a shift and the hard work paid off.

Cracking game at Jeffrey Humble today in the @NLJFL as the Tigers earned a hard fought win over Holy Rosary. Clear to see these are the two best teams in the league so far this season.
Tigers scored some great goals and defended well at the back.

Took the boys a while to get going but when we did the victory was sealed.

Derby day today as the Tigers overcame a resilient Lions side.
Although our passing wasn't as good as it can be, we created enough chances to win a couple of games and the lads kept going to seal the win.

After the Christmas break & last week's postponed game due to the weather, the Tigers were back in action and roared to a convincing win.
The lads produced some of the best passing of the season, showed desire to win the ball back and we're clinical in front of goal.

More tournament action for the Tigers today and the lads just missed out on the Europa trophy losing in the final to a penalty that proved to be the last kick of the game.
Felt the boys grew as the tournament progressed, showed resilience and passed the ball round well at times.

Today the Tigers were in tournament action. Although beaten in the CL final, this was their best tournament performance yet.
After 3 wins and 2 draws in group games, the boys beat a strong Bull Boca side in the semi before narrowly losing to Netherton Madrid in the final.

In today's @NLJFL cup game, the Tigers managed to overcome a strong River Juniors side to progress (and avenge the league defeat from a couple of months ago).
All the boys put in a shift and didn't let their heads dropped when chances were missed or saved.

Boys have done brilliantly in their transition to 7-a-side,
Our 2 new players (Tommy & Jacob )at the start of the season have made us stronger. Both scored yesterday and Jacob was POTM
