2/4 Key learning; 1. Children = ANY HUMAN between 0 - 18 including 16 & 17 y/olds despite them 'being legal'
2. A common misconception 'St Helena is friendly/safe so it doesn't happen here' - in fact the safer you feel sometimes the more at risk of exploitation people are #CSE
Important training and important advice - Child Sexual Exploitation happens everywhere including St Helena. Great 4 tweet summary from @StHelenaPO pleased to have had our #CID#communitypolice#immigration and #fire teams all attend this over the last two weeks. #cse#training
4/4 So once again thankyou to colleagues in Children & Adult's #SocialCare & the wonderful consultants for 'the start of permission giving' on St Helena. The conversation has started, CSE happens everywhere including here, be strong, speak out without fear of repercussions #CSE
