This weeks drill night saw our firefighters complete a large combination drill. Tasks included building improvised dams, water supply using our major and light portable pumps, ladder drills, plus knots and lines.
On Tuesday evening our drill night was interrupted as our pumping appliance and light 4x4 was mobilised to a grain dryer fire.
On scene we worked with a farmer to empty the unit and to cool the contents using hose reel jets.
