Love it when leaders come together to deliver for their communities!

Asim @MasjidIbrahimUK and @gonzagaflopes @StMartin_Tours just met to discuss a powerful initiative for the people of Newham.

We're truly greater than the sum of our parts. @NewhamCitizens #togetherstronger

Great to see David Miles announcing Excel has become an accredited Living Wage Place and wonderful to see @rokhsanafiaz supporting the principles of making London Royal Docks and wider Newham a living wage area. #newhamcitizens #livingwagefoundation

A joy to welcome Bishop Guli Francis-Dehqani to baptise 2 and confirm 20 people at St Martin’s Church, Plaistow. The official attendance at this service was the highest ever recorded in a joint service: 202 people.

Today we had the historical visit of Bishop Saulo de Barros, the first and former Bishop of the Diocese of the Amazon. 110 people were blessed by his sermon.

A joy to finally have had a proper thanksgiving and send off service for our first Vicar, Canon Jeanette Meadway. May she and John enjoy their retirement.

Our wonderful team of volunteers making sure St Martin’s Food Bank beneficiaries get their food parcels. Today 73 people will have food on their plates thanks to many anonymous donors.
