[10:30 AM] A tornado watch has been issued for parts of Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio until 5 PM EDT. Additional watches further east may be warranted later in the day. Stay weather-aware today and know how to get to your safe place!

[1130 am] Cannot rule out a severe storm developing out of showers and storms moving northeast out of southeast Indiana. But main concern remains the line from western Indiana into southern Illinois. The latter will move to near the Indiana-Ohio line towards 3 pm.

A moist and unstable airmass will interact with an approaching cold front to bring showers and thunderstorms to the region today and tonight. Some thunderstorms may be strong to severe. In addition, gusty winds between 35 and 45 mph will be possible outside of precipitation.

Potent low pressure and a cold front will provide the focus for severe thunderstorms on Wednesday. Best window for severe storms will be Wednesday afternoon and evening. Stay weather aware!
