A wonderful time had by all singers who represented the school at the annual @ValeAcadTrust Festival of Voices event tonight. After 9 weeks of rehearsals, they put on a marvellous show and we’re all very proud of them #schoolchoir#wantage#music well done!
Yesterday, our local MP @david4wantage paid us a visit. He spent some time in all the classes, then had a Q&A session with some of Red Kites. They grilled him about the cost of living crisis, school funding and what the government are doing about climate change. #questiontime
Shout out and huge thanks to our wonderful PTA, Friends of St Nics, who organised a fabulous 90s band night at the Royal British Legion last Saturday. They raised a fantastic £700 on the night, amazing work. #fundraising
We are very excited to announce that the book fair is coming to school on Monday 27th March until the 31st March, open after school each day and during parent evenings in the hall.
Your support would be hugely appreciated; the more books you buy, the more free books we get!
Christmas Craft Fair at St Nics today. Lots of opportunities to shop local for Christmas and we are Santa is paying us a visit too. He has just off to feed his reindeer.
Nothing like a pantomime to put a smile on everyone’s face on a wet Wednesday. Huge thank you to Friends of St Nics for funding this brilliant experience for our children, most of whom hadn’t experienced live theatre, never mind a dancing cow!
Vegetables free to good homes! Our school garden has produced some fantastic produce this year and we are giving them away at the end of school on Fridays, until we run out. Plenty of carrots including one huge one!
Thank you to everyone who came to visit our summer art exhibition yesterday. It was lovely to have so many people in to see some of the art children have created this year, both individually & collaboratively. It was fantastic to see so many children acting as tour guides too!
St Nic's Summer Creative Arts Exhibition is on tomorrow from 3-4pm on the school site. It is open to everyone and entry is free. We'd love to show you the wonderful art we've made this year.

Children in Owl Class have been designing a disabled-friendly garden - taking care to ask the right questions to experts, including around the best materials to use.
You know they are invested when they go home to do research on making the hill completely accessible and interview actual garden designers. Really wonderful talk around disability and inclusivity too @imagineinquiry#MantleoftheExpert @Smallfatwombat @LucyCoatesReay
