Jo Wilfred Tsonga speaking about Novak Djokovic to local media;
"It's sad for Novak, sad for the tournament and sad for all the players...Novak is a very respectable athlete, it's regrettable that we are now locking people up for their opinions"
Thanks @tsonga7#liberte ✊🏽
@PingletonNick13 @SayJac87 @ayshardzn Aren’t you the smartest pigleton out there 👏
And why did 20 other players with exemption also got deported? They must be all liars… 🙄
These are all humans. Treat them as such.
Aus Gov a complete fiasco. Degrading the goat of our sport #Novak to “gain” public support is shocking. What’s even more shocking are the people believing this is actually about health & safety. Shame on everyone for kicking him while he is down. So unnecessary & unjust #AO2022
@sarkerabeed With France or Uk it’s all fair game. They are making their statements now very CLEARLY months in advance. AU called djokovic team and said you can come… he did and suddenly they are like uhmm no you can’t get it. But since you are here let’s make you anti vax leader
@sarkerabeed I have received 3x Pfizer dozes. The problem of this situation is that AU gov lured a men to come to the tournament just so they can drag him through their shitty process and deport him. He wouldn’t of been there in the first place if he wasn’t invited.
Does it make sense?
"We invited him over here, we told him he had a medical exemption, we gave him a visa"
Lawyer @JustinQuill says Australia has "mucked up" the Novak Djokovic saga and looks "really silly".
@ayshardzn cmon 🙄…
Rules were that WITH EXEMPTION he can get in. If that was NOT in place he wouldn’t of been there. Don’t mix shit please and thank you 😘
