40 days of moving between civil, electrical, mechanical, ABE and mechatronics activities, and now it's officially defended 😂

Getting more comfortable with fusion 360
After class 5 with @yfe_embedded , I spent some time practicing 3d modelling and modifying tools.
I stared with a bottle, then things got interesting 😂

One of the best things you can do for yourself as an undergraduate is to build a portfolio before graduation

Failure to do so could be catastrophic

I've seen this play out so many times

And it's part of the reason 'A' class students end up working for 'C' class students

Especially as an engineering student

You can have all the grades in the world, but if you don't have the track record (or portfolio) to back it up, then omo...

Nothing for you!

Good grades are not enough

Learn a skill
Build projects
Take on volunteer roles
Apply for internships

If you lock in and commit to this for a year (or less), your life can and will change for the better

Just ask @MiracleAgitan_ 😉

Now do what you have to

Excel academically
But make it a plan to do so with your career also

The best time to start was yesterday

The second best time is NOW! ✨

@yfe_embedded @OgbulieChidinma We also went through Ed modelling workflow, mistakes to avoid, and why excessive features can make a design unnecessarily complicated.
The hands-on session helped me out some of it into practice

Class 5 of the @yfe_embedded workshop was about 3d modelling
We covered concepts like bodies, components, features, modifying and modelling tools like extrude, revolve, sweep, etc by @OgbulieChidinma
And a major takeaway was that the view you start modelling from matters...
