European Day of Languages. Year 5 have learned about France and played the French sport of boules. We have also tasted and learned about French food. @StPhilipCEAP #teamstphilip

In DT we have designed a quilt for a Mayan god. We used our history knowledge in our designs and each created a panel using our sewing skills. We think we met our design specifications, although our evaluations suggested some refinements. #teamstphilips #StPhilipCEAPS

What a Wonderful Viking Day! We had a visit from Olaf the Viking who told us all about everyday life as a Viking and their history. We had a battle in the afternoon where the Anglo-Saxons fought against the Vikings- it was a tie! #teamstphilips @StPhilipCEAP

We enjoyed making biscuit prototypes this afternoon 🍪 We split the dough into six and each added a different ingredient. We then evaluated each of them and decided on a final design idea as a group #teamstphilips @StPhilipCEAP
