Our incredible trip has come to an end for our 48 students and 6 staff. Today began with a short liturgy at St Vincent Catholic Church in Tossa de Mar, giving everyone a chance to reflect on a memorable week together.

Our students are all settling into the Spanish way of life. Today started with an inspiring visit to the Salvador DalΓ Museum, followed by some time exploring and shopping in Figueres.

Congratulations to Year 9 student Kyle Burton who played the Bobby Locke Junior Open at Goodwood Golf on Friday, 29th May, competing against over 77 other Junior players. He won his division and he also won the whole competition on Nett 63. Well done Kyle! #ProudOfOurStudents
πͺπΈ Year 8, Team Barcelona have landed safely in Spain! All the students are in great spirits and ready for exploring the local town of Tossa Del Mar after their transfer πͺπΈ
Some fantastic news from last nightβs Year 7 Touch Rugby Tournament π. The team played seven matches, winning five and drawing two, which saw them finish as overall tournament champions and bring home some well-earned silverware!
All students took part in voting this morning to elect the Student Senior Leadership Team for 2026-2027 π³οΈ
7M2 approached the experience with great maturity and enthusiasm as they used a ballot box for the very first time!
The elected team will be announced after half term.

Congratulations to Bella and Evie for helping Brighton & Hove Albion Women U16 become National Champions by winning the National PGA Cup - the junior equivalent of the FA Cup! Both girls played up an age group at U16 level, An incredible achievement - congratulations girls!

Furniture Club students are in the final stages of completing their woodwork project. They have been super creative with their weaving and we look forward to seeing the final pieces.
Yesterday we had the pleasure of taking 38 of our athletes to the Annual District athletics competition held at Worthing Leisure Centre, where 13 schools competed. It was an amazing day, with St Oscar Romero securing 1st place overall!
Congratulations to Year 8 students, Hollie Luke and Amber Edbrooke, for completing a season for Sussex County Netball. They were chosen out of over 100 girls to be in a squad of 20.
Good luck to the girls competing in Bedford this Saturday against the other county teams!
Today, 122 of our fantastic students headed to the coast to investigate the success of local coastal management. ππ
Taking such a large group off-site can be a challenge, but our students were absolute superstars, making the day productive and stress-free for all! π
