Year 6 Sustainability Day was a great success - from earth bench building to bee hotels and hedgehog houses, recycled tyre planters and wildflower seed bombs to a mini rainwater pond, the girls took charge of their projects and mucked in (!!) beautifully! @StSwithunsYear6

The co-curricular gardeners were out, despite the weather, this afternoon. Harvesting strawberries and radishes and collecting soil for our wildflower #bee bombs. Tonka the #StSwithunsTortoise was pleased that another sowing of rocket plants has been made. #StSwithunsItsWhoWeAre

The @StSwithunsPrep @OutdoorClassDay has been a huge success! We have enjoyed activities which have taken us out into the fresh air and have called on their scientific, geographical and technological knowledge. The rain couldn't dampen our spirits at all; what a great day!
