Weโre thrilled to announce our first successful cryonics suspension with Patient 1! Thanks to our incredible team and partners for their swift and dedicated efforts. A major milestone for Southern Cryonics and CryoPath! ๐โ๏ธ #Cryonics#Innovation#TeamWork
Southern Cryonics now operating, limiting news to cryonics circles. Capable of handling patients, refining procedures. Formal opening in 2Q. Subscribers/members joining, some signed suspension agreements. Contact [email protected] for more info.
Quite a bit has happened for housekeeping, assembling equipment and training. The one major item delaying us is safety equipment for LN2. Hopefully within the next month, but Covid related equipment/illness delays a problem. Because we are so close the delays are frustrating.
The Ask Us Anything online meeting on 27 Feb had a good response. It was mainly Q &A with no visual material. To get something out quickly we are linking to the audio for now until we finalize the vdo later. https://t.co/HphrpWoatZ
Ask Us Anything meeting with Philip Rhoades, of CAA and Peter Tsolakides of Southern Cryonics. The meeting will be held Sunday 27th February at 3pm (Sydney time). If you would like to join pls contact me at [email protected] or [email protected] for Zoom details.
Training, the final major step before start up is scheduled for January. This will be professional training for Standby, Stabilization, Perfusion. Through Australian Blood Management we have the capability to offer leading edge ECMO and perfusion very near time after legal death.
Very recently there was a worldwide cryonics conference called Biostasis 2021 and I was kindly asked to present there about our activities in Australia.

Training via VDO now likely. We could do this because those being trained are all professionals. They have extensive practical experience but need specific training for cryonics. Hopefully means startup by year end.
We added 5 Full Members taking our total Founding and Full Membership to 32. All the major equipment should be delivered in the next few months. We will be buying the minor equipment locally as we progress.
This may be of interest to you. It was a long podcast I did with a US cryonics podcast group. Some is background to the organization and project status and some is personal thoughts and speculations. https://t.co/kDndEZSimO
@MoistCr1TiKaL Charlie, there was a mistaken donation made by me of Aust$649. It is frozen in my credit card. Really sorry. Please contact me at [email protected] to sort out. I don't know how else to contact you. Peter

The build is finished but the critical training is still outstanding, which involves local and overseas people meeting in large groups. With the major uncertainties surrounding Covid-19 we have hesitated to make any formal plans for this until things are clearer.
We recently are being asked quite a few questions about standby, stabilization and transportation (SST). These are not handled by Southern Cryonics, but are handled by separate organizations like CryoPath. Please see the process at the following site.

As we get closer to the time we hope to be operational we are receiving many queries. Some of the more general answers to these queries are on our web site FAQ page, including some short videos you may enjoy.

One of our members organized a video of the main activities of building the first stage of the facility. Please enjoy watching our progress.

Have placed our order for the dewar/cryostat. This is a specialized piece of equipment with likely arrival early next year, subject, of course, to possibility of Covid-19 delays. Are now organizing a liquid nitrogen tank and liquid nitrogen deliveries.
