@GMShivers The time cost is so niche it's laughable. The vast majority of people don't sacrifice productive hours to cook, they sacrifice brain rot hours. Even a lawyer probably can't reliably generate billable hours on demand at 7 PM to technically justify takeout.
@hoggonomore People always underestimate how low quality fast food ingredients are too. McDonald's ended it's partnership with Heinz to save money. McDonald's isn't using a "good quality" bun. Even though this basket isn't some super organic premium basket it's still much higher quality.
@prieurdp I only back in if it's not gonna obstruct traffic, since it makes pulling out much safer. You have a much better view of your surroundings than you do backing in vs. backing out AND right of way.
@RadioactiveWest@SooperMexican Yeah, so you can eat this for dinner and pack a meal that heats well in the microwave for lunch, like soup or chilli or a casserole or something. You're making mountains out of mole hills.
@BTCBreadMan For some reason people think our ancestors spent all their time worrying about ingredient quality and macronutrients instead of hunting wild beasts and waging war.
@ksdotlewis You can build a cart online at a Target (which is higher than normal grocery costs) in a HCOL area like Boston and it still comes out to $30 for 4 meals worth of food, with lots of leftovers of everything besides beef.
@jenpellzy14@TheEXECUTlONER_ You're only supposed to be on the outside if you plan on getting off the next exit, in which case exiting from the inside is not an issue - both cars would be exiting into their own lane. Rover entered in the outside despite not planning on taking the next exit, causing the issue
@CarnacMAG@TheEXECUTlONER_@heyitsmeCarolyn Nah, you should only be entering from the right lane if you're taking the next exit. If everyone does that, it's perfectly safe to exit from the inside, and that's the intended design, hence why the solid line goes dotted by the exit.
@Charrington_84@MAKRealtyDE@signulll It sounds like fanfiction but apparently they were both wealthy high earners and retired early. He got bored and took on work for fun, so the so in the divorce settlement arbitrator viewed him as the solo breadwinner and the wife as a SAHM.
@signulll If true, this is basically the culmination of the most unfortunate set of decisions ever. He and his wife were both wealthy high earners and retired early, but he got bored and took some work for fun, so arbitrator viewed him as solo breadwinner, hence the wild support payment.
