@MTSlive Super fkn disappointing that you guys are just falling into the same bullshit click-bait pattern as every other news media that has ever existed. F
It didn’t “Break in”… it was “invited in”. It’s an air-gapped network.
@DzambhalaHODL@SattvaSidd This is part of an information campaign that will push to regulate Ai, potentially some form of nationalization. Hard guardrails and nerfed capabilities for anything consumer facing. Controlled releases… more powerful models only accessible by sanctioned institutions, etc…
I have the same machine as you. I primarily run Qwen3.6 27B and variations of the 35B model (which is pretty much the daily driver for most of my agents).
I found ds4 DeepSeekV4 basically useless for any of my agentic flows because of speed bottlenecks. Tool calling was basically impossible.
I orchestrate via Codex. Still learning myself, but it's coming together.
The dirty secret of local AI is that there are no good models that require more than 24GB vram but less than 256GB
you can get a 3090 gpu and run the absolute best model anyone can run unless they have 10 times more vram than you
@udiWertheimer@iTarjei The DeepSeek mode is a smarter model, but the cost in speed is significant (at least with the set up he mentioned)... better off just iterating more on Qwen models than choking the machine w/DeepSeek ds4...especially if you want to do any tool-calling.
@0xSero Cool that they stepped in the right direction… but it’s a shiny wrapper of poor function. It may look like Codex, but it’s not even close. OpenCode is miles better than this.
A “ban” on under-16s using social media means (in practical terms) that all other social media users will now have to 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘦 that they are 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 16. As other forms of censorship have been throughout history, in other words, it’s really a registration system.
We're gonna abundance so much, you may even get tired of abundance. And you'll say, please, please, it's too much abundance. We can't take it anymore. Mr. Musk, it's too much, and I will say no it isn't, we have to keep abundance, we have to abundance more, we're gonna abundance more!
@john_ssuh I’d say the same about most of the infrastructure for how the current web itself operates… at least at the software layer. Lack of Interoperability and composability is pure friction for the direction we’re pushing.
I’ve never been able to get the iOS version of Obsidian to work for me. It always freezes, doesn’t sync files I add from iOS, etc… I’m not a guy who rushes out to buy the newest phone every time they release. Maybe my hardware is outdated?… iPhone13…newest iOS.
Would love to integrate mobile with obsidian workflows.
The scary part about Anthorpic's Fable nerf is not that it refuses to answer biology or cryptography. It's that it foreshadows what's coming. A world where a couple companies decide what you can and cannot do. They're building a new ruling class and you're not in it...
