TODAY AT 3:30 PM
@AAPhysiatrists — Pacific Ballroom C, on 2nd floor
I will douse this battery acid on chicken wings and eat them with leaders & program directors of #Physiatry — while asking them questions on how to kill interviews and rise to the top of the field.
DON’T MISS
If you’re at #AAP looking for some friends…https://t.co/j8tb6Xla9J Us residents started this group bc we wanted to find a like minded crew devoted to DEI work in this awesome field that is #physiatry! We’re new (launched May 2022) and creating community!
Our friend & former co-resident Dr. Bolek Payan is MISSING. Last seen on 12/22 leaving Henry Ford #Hospital in Jackson, MI😭
His vehicle was found at his residence, but he had no contact with his employer, family or friends. Keep his family in prayers🙏#Medtwitter#Cardiotwitter
Are you a medical student, going to #Physiatry23 in February, and are afraid that you aren’t going to know anyone? Sign up for the new @AAPhysiatry_MSC Conference Pal Program to get matched with another medical student to hangout with during the conference!
FLOORED at how awesome @RepresentRehab journal club was. Expertly moderated, articles incredibly well presented. I've seen FLAME trial etc presented before but not as well as this. Thx @BeiZhangMD @aspiringpmrdoc @ChristianWBDO24! Catch it on our podcast/youtube soon. Amazing!
2 yrs ago, I posted a TikTok video about Pulse Oximeters. For decades, they haven't worked as well on darker skin tones. My video received over 200K views and started my "Racial Bias in Medicine" series.
Today a FDA advisory committee is finally convening to address the problem!
I had the idea for @RepresentRehab in Dec 2021. Forever grateful for the people who believed in it and the amazing students and residents who joined to make it what it is today. There’s so much more we can do to improve and grow. Happy to be on this journey.
Five years ago, in the Pediatrics residency office, we had one of those rare conversations that turns a problem into something magical. Happy 5 year anniversary, #LEADatStanfordMed! Look how you've grown!
