@gojimmypi@computingchamps Pretty well, most students seem to really enjoy it. The c++ is maybe too much, and there is some definite fatigue. I am curious to see how it will look with micro python.

@gojimmypi@computingchamps Actually, I am doing much of that, this was in reference to the game specifically. We have never done a game before. We do a whole range from hello world all the way through simple motor control. In the level 2 class we do control systems and some connectivity stuff.
@computingchamps@gojimmypi These are 11th and 12th graders, I do not teach students in any other age ranges. This is the first time I have done this. They expressed interest in doing something like this, so we gave it a shot.
@carrillophysics Yeah, and we talk about how one of them has a smaller effect and so they are going to pick the two that match the data the best, and then after they are done we talk about how the angle is assumed to be small.
@physicsnico When objects are stuck together at the end. The maximum ke is lost that can be lost and still allow for momentum to be conserved. An example is a bug hitting a windshield of a car on the freeway. Totally inelastic, but very little ke lost.

S/O to @StaffordPhysics for providing a fun and engaging finals project for our Cougars. Given the skills learned, students were given a few materials and challenged with building a car that will protect an egg from cracking upon a collision. Our kids did a great job!!
