Anti-Iranian regime activists have spoken out about the abuse and injuries they have suffered on British soil at the hands of supporters of the Tehran regime.
Human rights activist Ellie Borhan was pushed to the ground, punched and left with multiple injuries, including a broken foot, after being attacked at demonstrations in London two years ago.
She has also been subjected to an online campaign of threats and abuse, and says she has been followed home and watched.
Last Friday, Borhan and other Iranian dissidents wrote to MPs urging the UK Government to do more to tackle repression and other threats linked to the Iranian regime.
Activist Ali Taranssari said his private information was shared in a pro-Tehran regime channel, including personal details and the fact he was a Reform UK candidate in Birmingham’s local elections.
Borhan came to the UK in 2006 to study and later became a British citizen. She said: “I appreciate the life I have in the UK, I appreciate the culture. But I worry for Britain too.”
She added: “Everyone should have freedom of speech. And no one should assault someone else just for opening up and talking about the truth.”

On Sunday, 10 May, Stage of Freedom stood with the British Jewish community in London to highlight the importance of strategic partnerships against shared threats.

Today in central London, we stood with Britain’s Jewish community against antisemitism and highlighted the world’s double standard on Iran.
70+ days of internet blackouts, killings, and executions in Iran — yet global silence continues.
Iranian lives matter too.
Mehdi Rasouli, Mohammadreza Miri, and Ebrahim Dolatabadi were executed today in Mashhad by a regime that continues to hold the Iranian people hostage. Arrested during the January 8–9 uprising, they were later sentenced to death in sham trials devoid of due process.
Without immediate and decisive international action, hundreds of other courageous Iranians remain at risk of execution, especially as the regime imposes internet shutdowns to silence the truth and conceal its actions.
Iranian Diaspora Groups Plan London March on Saturday, April 25
Members of the Iranian diaspora are expected to gather in London on Saturday, April 25, for a march calling for a free, democratic, and unified Iran.
Organizers said participants will assemble at 1:00 p.m. opposite 10 Downing Street (SW1A 2AA) before marching toward the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The rally is scheduled to conclude at 5:00 p.m.
The event will be held under the Lion and Sun flag, a symbol associated with some Iranian opposition groups. Organizers have expressed support for Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi and described the march as a demonstration of national solidarity.

We are writing to both the UK Prime Minister and the U.S. Ambassador to the UK to ensure coordinated international attention.
The Iranian people have endured repression, violence, and the systematic denial of their rights for decades. Today, they are united in their demand for true regime change, not reform.
These letters set out clear, unified demands:
- Proscribing the IRGC as a terrorist organization (for the UK Prime Minister)
- End all engagement with the Islamic Republic and its affiliates
- Recognize the legitimacy of the Iranian people's movement
- Support a democratic transition under Prince Reza Pahlavi's leadership
- Maintain pressure on the regime while protecting civilians and infrastructure
By addressing both governments directly, we aim to elevate urgency and drive action at the highest levels. Our goal is to ensure these messages reach both Number 10 and U.S. leadership, prompting meaningful response and sustained accountability.
Please add your name. Stand with the Iranian people.

Following a demonstration held on April 11th in response to a call from Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi, the organization Stage of Freedom has announced a second march in London scheduled for Saturday, April 18th.
The event, intended for Iranians and supporters advocating for a secular, democratic Iran, is set to begin at 2:00 PM opposite 10 Downing Street (SW1A 2AA) and will proceed toward the Islamic Republic of Iran’s embassy, concluding at 5:00 PM.
@StageOfFreedom1
The United Kingdom has endlessly appeased the criminal regime in Iran. The Prime Minister speaks of protecting the innocent civilians of Iran but failed to act to help stop the regime’s massacre of 40,000 innocent Iranians in January.
Only an end to this regime - that brings terror to Britain’s own shores - will yield lasting peace and regional stability. Keir Starmer should follow in the footsteps of Churchill, not Chamberlain. He should support the Iranian people’s fight for liberty.
The Iranian people will remember who stood with them in their hour of need and who stood against them. There is still time for the Government to change course: prosecute the IRGC that slaughters innocents, expel the illegitimate regime's ambassador, and act to support the people of Iran.

🔴 CALL TO RALLY & MARCH: LONDON
Gathering in London under the Lion and Sun flag to reclaim Iran.
📅 Saturday, April 4th
🕐 1:00 PM (13:00): Rally starts Opp. 10 Downing Street (Prime Minister’s Office).
🚶♂️ 2:00 PM (14:00): March begins to the Islamic Republic Embassy.
Could it be that a lot of people going on these marches genuinely have no idea what they are supporting, or do they consciously support this murderous, tyrannical regime and therefore the continued suppression of the Iranian people?
