@AvantiWestCoast @mrgsir And the 7.15 from Manchester to Euston only had 9 carriages in spite of the earlier train being cancelled. Standing room for many from Manchester. Train declassified and no point in trying to get to the buffet car

Train cancelled and next train declassified with no food service. Is there any compensation for an open ticket? I’m hungry and will be late for my meeting!
