@mckmuze It's a bit more focused niche. But EIP-1337 will open the way for anyone to build proper patronage dapps. Thanks for the kind words though. I really appreciate it. It is sad that StakeTree never went further. It's not a funding issue, but more personal motivation.
Sorry for being so silent. Lots have been happening behind the scenes. Here's a long awaited update on StakeTree. Good news, it's still going to continue within another team. Stay tuned for more on news for that. https://t.co/ffss3xBH17
Bittersweet update: I've worked on lots of fun projects as a dev in the past few years. But I'm taking a break from big commitments for the foreseeable future. StakeTree however is too big not to continue & I've got some news to share on that! https://t.co/aRW9cg3iF1
@mckmuze Hey Brady, I do have some updates. Will get a blog post out soon. Gitcoin Grants (& EIP-1337) is what eventually came of StakeTree. https://t.co/2LwoF8Xhqk
Stay tuned for end of month February update! v0.0.1 of the serverless contract dashboard is looking good (in fact the screenshot below comes directly from the service hosted on IPFS). A few more quirks to iron out still, but expect code on Github soon too!
P.S. - This pulls in lots of newly published staketree code. Like the react components & a web3 controller. Keep an eye out on Github for all this pretty soon. Excited to share!
You can host it yourself or access it locally with just a browser + internet. It'll be published to IPFS as well. So even if https://t.co/nfCXqK8hfk goes down, you'll be able to access your contracts.
Happy Thursday! Quick update. Almost done with extracting the 1st service, the contract dashboard, into its own home. It all builds it into a single html file + js bundle.
@Benjamin_BTC It happens upon withdrawal yes. Although exchange is probably not the correct term. I would use the word "generate" rather. We keep track of how you much eth you have contributed. This amount is your "claim" to how many new tokens you can generate for you.
