🇸🇪 Sweden allocates 15 billion SEK (1,4 billion €) to establish several company-sized territorial air defence units.
These units will be equipped with short-range air defence systems specifically for C-UAS deployments in protection of cities and critical infrastructure.

I have been sitting with this for a while, trying to process how the United States can even consider a plan that rewards Russia for invading a sovereign country. It honestly blows my mind. What a betrayal.
Washington is talking about freezing the front, letting Russia keep pieces of Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia, and acting like this is a road to peace. It is not peace. It is surrender on paper.
Ukraine has been fighting nonstop for years. They have been bleeding for every inch of their land. And somehow the United States believes it can shape the future of a nation that is carrying the weight of this war alone. If America wanted an equal voice in these decisions, they should have fought here beside Ukraine.
They should have sent troops, taken casualties, and shared the cost. But the reality is simple. The only Americans fighting and dying here are foreign volunteers, not a single government unit. We come here on our own, without pay, without recognition, because we believe Ukraine deserves to live.
What makes this even worse is the additional expectations being whispered behind closed doors. Ukraine being told to disband half its army. To give up all long range strike capabilities. To hand over the rest of the territory in Donetsk that is still under Ukrainian control. And we all know there will be more demands behind that. This is not a peace plan. It is a forced capitulation dressed up as diplomacy.
What frustrates me most is how other nations, who have sacrificed nothing but money, think they have the right to decide the fate of a country fighting for its existence. These are the same countries that have limited Ukraine’s weapons, controlled the range of missiles, slowed down deliveries, and sent equipment just barely enough to prevent defeat but never enough to secure victory.
They had thousands of vehicles, aircraft, and critical systems they could have sent years ago. They chose not to and now they want Ukraine to pay the price for their hesitation.
I have spent years on this soil. I have trained thousands of Ukrainian soldiers. I have watched them bury their friends. I have watched them fight with everything they have because they refuse to be turned into another broken Soviet colony.
And to see powerful nations talk about giving away Ukrainian land like it is a negotiation chip is heartbreaking. No one who has stood on the ground here would ever accept that.
Ukraine earned the right to decide its own future. Nobody else.
Slava Ukraini. Heriom Slava. 🇺🇦
I'm an Norwegian 🇳🇴tax payer. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my tax kroner spent on supporting Ukraine and fighting evil! And I'm ashamed that my extremely rich country contributes far too little to Ukraine!
I'm running against Marjorie Taylor Greene.
She's telling her fan club that we won't be able to gain traction because we don't have enough of a social media following like she does.
I know that this race won't be decided on X, but can you follow and retweet to prove her wrong?

International conflicts are seldom black and white. But of the around 14 wars I’ve covered so far the Russian invasion of Ukraine is the most clear cut in a moral sense. Lawless aggression against legal defense. Evil war crimes against a nation determined to defend itself.
