Beg to differ. It's my favorite Stones album, but not by much. And I'm as big a stones fan as it gets. I was jsut rocking out to Jiving Sister Fanny and Memo from Turner. I can go all the way deep on the Stones and Exile is definitely my favorite. But that run from Beggars to Let it Bleed is definitely the greatest string of albums by any band.

We aren’t going back to John Wayne, cartoon history. There’s plenty to be proud of.

There’s also an ugly side to our history.

The truth is neither found in John Wayne or Howard Zinn.

Movies capable of treating our history in a truthful context could be great, but my guess is that you would only cheer it is it was low IQ goyslop.

You can tell the story of the battle of the Pacific in WWII with the heroism of the soldiers while also acknowledging FDR provoked the war in the first place.

The history of America is largely the triumph of good men and good principles of government over corrupted people and principles.

I think it’s important to remember only 1/2 of MAGA is in the cult.

The rest of us were voting for America First policy. The fact we broke is proof we were never in the cult to begin with.

I used to think that Christianity was the antidote and I d become more Christian as a result.

Now I see the same split in Christianity as MAGA. Half of Christians are cultists that could believe everything, including the bombing of children and genocide as Gods will

The other half is capable of seeing what a radical departure that is from the message of Christ.

The cultists will say, do and believe things just bc they are unthinking sheep herded by wolves and jackals we call pastors and pundits.

My family is deep in the cult and trying to get them to recognize reality is like holding a crucifix to a vampire.

Deep down, they are good people. But they treat reality as heresy. It’s a combination of low information and a desire to root for the hometeam.

You can’t reason people out of things they didn’t reason their way into.
