Its not just another South African rugby doping scandal.

Yes Kai Pratt has been a silly young man but we all need to wake up to the fact that "globally" there is a problem in our sport.

And if we want to behave like the cycling world did until they couldn't any more then we deserve it.

Every rugby union in the world is mandated by World Rugby to implement the WADA anti doping policy.

South Africa and New Zealand are the only two countries who today test schoolboy rugby players.

Over the past 10 years the top three positive testing nations in order are

1. England
2. Australia
3. South Africa.

If rugby unions do not investigate where these kids are getting the drugs from then they are the weakest link in the chain.

Doping in sport requires a supply chain. More often than not a crooked Dr is involved and that they are supplying more than ONE player.

Let's not sweep this important topic under the carpet. Young kids life's depend on it. The lure to be the best to be selected for your nation is putting a ton of pressure on these kids. We need to do better for them
