Feedback is number 1 for me. Without feedback, it's hard for kids to know where they need to grow and improve. I could definitely be better at giving faster feedback to kids. #csp554
@learnteachtech I try to go around a take a couple minutes with every kid as they are working on learning targets. I also tried to call on every kid once a day to gauge their understanding. They work independently, in pairs, small groups, and large groups. #csp544
@learnteachtech Lit circles are great! Everyone has a role! Or projects where students have specific tasks. Have to create a rap about a theme--each person does a line and switches! #csp544
@learnteachtech I recently just learned about Cornell notes this summer. I really like the organization and thought behind it. I like that students are asked about the notes the next day too in responses. #csp544
Some hw is valuable because it gives us practice for basic skills and helping develop expertise and responsibility. Ex) writing a story, iMovie partner work, etc #csp554
@learnteachtech You can create 4 colored corners on Google Slides, then use the Google Drawing shapes for students to place their shape in the color that signifies how they Strongly Agree, Agree, Disagree, etc. Pretty simple once set up as a template. #csp554
