A child’s apology often sounds like this: “Sorry I pushed you.” To get them to dig deeper, try this almost magical trick. Say, “Try to tell him you’re sorry using 15 words.” Kids get into counting & deliver a really thoughtful apology. (Adapted from the great game Brixiples.)
