@dawnofevil@QQOPORG @CptCypher @SC_Logicorp @TwitterSupport @AstroPub@RooSmash_ @RenegadeSquadBW @MobiglasSpace@ADIShapCap@SHACKLETON_ENT the problem is that it's only "stalking" and "doxing" in distorted star citizen fanboy world where criticizing a video game company should be illegal. sane people don't care.
@truegameskeptic@dsmart @leonardjfrench As I said, the arguments did not change after the supposed "knock-out punch". Crytek restated their positions in the follow-up. And if Crytek HAD made a really good argument, French certainly did not mention them in his subsequent videos. So explain the discrepancy.
@truegameskeptic@dsmart @leonardjfrench Right here: https://t.co/31el7bgxcx … "this [Motion to Dismiss] sounds like a knock-out punch to me". Now it's 60-40 against MtD even though the arguments haven't changed at all. Leonard has been pretty clearly talking out of his ass this whole time.
@PascalLeroux @HellyahhDota @dsmart @leonardjfrench under contention. Which means that even IF all of CIG's statements were true, it would still be far from a knock out punch.
@PascalLeroux @HellyahhDota @dsmart @leonardjfrench changed because he understood the arguments (which were identical between the two statements) better on the second go around. And I've already pointed out an instance where Leonard missed something essential; he missed the fact that the MtD didn't even address all the points
@PascalLeroux @HellyahhDota @dsmart @leonardjfrench It's good that he qualifies his statements as tentative, and I have no problem with people changing their mind on an issue. I am just pointing out that because no new information came to light in yesterdays statement, the only conclusion to be drawn is that Leonard's position
@PascalLeroux @HellyahhDota @dsmart @leonardjfrench Not that I think he was intentionally running PR for SC, but that he may have had some biases he himself didn't recognize and this effected his ability to objectively analyze the case, which resulted in him seeing a MtD that didn't even address all the charges as a knock-out.
@PascalLeroux @HellyahhDota @dsmart @leonardjfrench When you pair this with the fact that he's *a backer* of Star Citizen, you can't really blame people for raising a few eyebrows.
@PascalLeroux @HellyahhDota @dsmart @leonardjfrench Notice how two weeks ago he said the thing that could change his mind was Crytek unveiling some new evidence...that evidence was NOT provided, but his stance completely changed. The most likely conclusion is that he simply didn't grasp central parts of the argument.
@PascalLeroux @HellyahhDota @dsmart @leonardjfrench Sorry it was "knockout punch"for his concluding remarks two weeks ago, see here: https://t.co/T2XbFkxkkN and "it seems like it will go down the middle" in his concluding remarks yesterday, see here: https://t.co/zp9ujBlTJX
@PascalLeroux @leonardjfrench It gives the impression of someone who is easily swayed by rhetoric rather than the substance of the argument. He also pretty clearly did not know alot of elementary details about CIG's history, like whether they've sold SQ42 as a separate product, that r fundamental 2 know.
@PascalLeroux @leonardjfrench interpretation is most definitely flawed in this case, if for no other reason than because he ricocheted from thinking CIG's MtD being a "slam dunk" to the case being "50-50" despite no new information coming to light in Skadden's response.
