@True_Neutral Tbf, Some of my comments about mangaka can come out as entitled. Like me saying that fans' ideas and visions should take precedence over authors', or it's author's mission to also service the fans. But that's also for the survival of series and works which also need to make money
@animetrends "this same user was one of several harassers who drove the creator of Gachiakuta....."
Can you point out which comments I even made directly to her under her posts? Any personal attack that I made calling her names? My deleted QTs of her piracy posts didn't even have a swear.
"this same user was one of several harassers who drove the creator of Gachiakuta....."
Can you point out which "harassing" comments I even made directly to her under her posts? Or is your so-called "bad take" now considered as a harassment?
@rude_vega@Park_Street_ If they are capable of showing dashing, colorful Japan or even allow the players to race with a robot, then they should be capable of inserting references to Japanese past history.
Ex. a character who was once a racer during the Imperial Japan era and faced oppressions from gov't
It's okay to like Anime without glazing and worshipping Japan.
It's okay to love Japanese manga, media, and light novels while also criticizing Japanese culture, politics, and history.
If you like something, if you love someone, you must criticize.

@rude_vega@Park_Street_ Japanese+many game devs who make games about Japan seem to keep ignoring Japanese past history and only focusing on what they think are "cool and kawaii" about Japan which is no difference than glazing Japan. What they want to do is depicting Japan as it is, a very flawed nation
@rude_vega@Park_Street_ If I don't care about Anime or Japanese media, I would have stayed quiet and let it rot to die. Who is the one that doesn't care about Anime, Japanese media, and Japan here? Me? Or someone who keep on praising Japa, Japanese media+Japanese people as they are about to go extinct?
@rude_vega@smug7630 What? Yes? I love Persona series and I will criticize ATLUS if it goes out of its way to mess up Persona series or ignore its fans and criticisms.
@Doku_HL_SDalt But would that tree still be there if your local government legalized unlimited deforestation? Would that tree even grew in the first place if the previous government allowed factories to pollute the earth and soil without any punishments?
@ZelSnea If you love something, you should criticize it and make it last as long as possible.
If you love America and want to see it prosper and "Great Again", would you let it rot in the hands of corrupted individuals? Or protect and criticize it so it can get on the right track?
@another_israel And don't you want to see what's next? The galaxy after Shepard's sacrifice? Don't you want to imagine the next Mass Effect where you play as another Spectre who roams the post-Reaper galaxy and eventually faces Shepard who is still alive after 3's best ending in a grand duel?
@another_israel Because you love Mess Effect. Wouldn't you want to see it prosper? Being played and enjoyed by people around the world like the way you once enjoyed it? Or would you let someone get it wrong because you weren't there to criticize it in the first place?
@picopicogamer Since you are a game dev and collector, then you must know the state of gaming and the points that you don't like about it.
If you see the games that you have been enjoying for a long time turning bad, wouldn't you want to criticize the devs?
@Park_Street_ What's wrong with my message here? If you like Anime, you must glaze Japan?
Say, if I like Chicken Adobo and I love the sight of Manila, does it mean that I now have to glaze Philippines and its everything?
@Doku_HL_SDalt But everything is somehow affected by politics, isn't it? From the clean water you drink to the beloved media you consume, all are results of politics, are they not?
Flint, Michigan water crisis comes to mind?
@another_israel Then, had they listened to you and the "fans" criticisms, wouldn't they turn out to be "better"? If they didn't live in their bubble and shower themselves with praises and glazes from the "wokes", wouldn't their later projects like "Dreadwolf" turn out better than Veilguard?
@MattWheato29729 "Ride or die" means that you will willfully let your creators or beloved companies die if it means that it will be their final ride.
Wouldn't it be better if they keep on riding as far as possible? Don't you want to see where their path can reach if they ride far enough?
@ZettaSlowSnake >objectively clears the rest of this shithole of a planet in pretty much every single way.
Try asking Japanese who moved or migrated to other nations and they might answer with something interesting.
@TTundraM1 What is a "lip service" here? Saying that you don't have to worship Japan to like Anime?
If you think that I hide my motive, then say my motive then.
