Every choice starts with this: Do you see others as equal to you? We all have an inner compass—call it conscience, spirit, or whatever—which we leverage when making that choice.

@stackerco The real motivator on both sides is to be proven correct rather than honest empathy. It's only when one side is truly willing to drop the need to be seen as _____ and honestly asks "might I be wrong?" that the collusion can stop. But that step is exceedingly rare. /3
@stackerco With collusion, each side claims to want a resolution but both perpetuate it by using the behavior of the other side as justification for what they do. So, each side assigns a motive to the other, and neither side has the grace to honestly look at their motivators. 2/
@GrandpaJoeSux Superior outcomes do not mean superior people. People respond primarily to how they are regarded (whether equal or not) and this statement seems to treat others as inferior people which does not help bring them to Christ. It says their value is suspect and needs to be defended.1/
@EricCMeadows My best long-term remedy was changing to a Paleo AIP diet. Once I was on that diet, it was 3 months before I realized that I had gone from weekly and sometimes daily migraines to none. I get them on average once every three months or so. My last one was over 6 months ago.
@Kintsugijin I use GitHub Copilot for a ton of my development. I use the Microsoft Copilot for work stuff. Gemini while driving (no other options available). And will swap between Grok and Bing Copilot for everything else.
@jesse_k_fox@GuyInco15542744 I sincerely hope people do find healing and peace. The Anatomy of Peace teaches people how to do that without religion. However, people often find a feeling of control or superiority and call it healing and peace. Peace can only come through seeing others as people.
This is one of humanity's greatest innovations of form and function.
How could you sit in this chair and not feel like the captain of the Starship Enterprise?
.@satyanadella just put the whole "water" debate to rest.
Datacenters run on a closed loop cooling system, the water usage of a datacenter for an entire year is roughly equivalent to a usage of 1 restaurant!
@hedgelaird@stackerco Agreed. The setup of the question assumes a definition of "evil" to make its claims. Until "evil" is defined, there cannot be a true answer.
Also, actions are just behaviors and all behaviors can be done from different perspectives. The perspective is where evil is.
