Why I am hyped for #Starfield, a 🧵
Back in my youth, in the early 90's, I played Starflight 1 and 2 on the Amiga. Had a great time with a notebook jotting down all of the various clues I had picked up and consulting the big folded star map.
Shattered Space released one week ago - have you taken the journey to Va'ruun'kai yet?
If you have the Premium or Constellation Edition, simply complete #Starfield's introductory mission, One Small Step, and grav jump to an orbit not used by a mission or encounter to receive a distress call...

ZoNE79, one of my favorite #Starfield mod authors when it comes to character fashion, just released a merged version of several of his mods, new clothing, eyewear, watches, and more!🚀

@G2ThaUNiT I would say there are mods for that. But there are mods for that, especially spaceflight. But yes, these days if loading screens are needed, they can be more cleverly hidden behind a cutscene transition with varying camera angles.
Another of #Starfield's gameplay issues addressed. Many still to go but got to give them kudos for this and the previous updates like the new surface maps. Why didn't we have this quality at launch?
No need to answer that, but what would you want BGS to improve on next?🚀
The REV-8 drives, jumps, shoots, and can even mine for resources - and it's Vasco-approved 👍

@wesphilly06 Possibly, though by that logic, playtesting for "fun" instead of just bugs should have pointed that out. Starfield had a lot of challenges (engine update, new IP, huge staff up, COVID, FO76, etc...) which delayed development. The setting they came up with have no excuse for :P
@00Core00 What it did was allow for content on all the planets the player could land on for no reason other than to just do it or random quest. It's great for player freedom, but game needs more variety in its POIs, their contents, and reasons to visit them, in order to avoid repetition.
@00Core00 Not countered by lore. Countered by Dev time. Is it a need vs nice to have? The need is to get the game to a functionable playable state. The nice is all the missing stuff that should be there for immersion in a 24th century sci-fi setting but isn't.
@Jay_Dook Well, it's definitely edited, especially at the end. So, we don't know for sure what it will finally sound like. The beauty of BGS games though is that swapping out the sound for something else won't be impossible.
4chan leak. Shows a first-person view of what COULD be driving a vehicle in an upcoming #Starfield update.
I hope this is legit. It looks fun! The game really needed this from launch as part of a new type of exploration gameplay that previous BGS games didn't offer. 🚀🚓
@DirtyEffinHippy Go to the hospital and ask about indigent care and charity care programs
Under U.S. law, nonprofit hospitals must provide charity care. Some for-profit hospitals do, too. These programs provide free and low-cost treatment, including emergency room, for people who can't pay.
