@CTheng8@JoeMerrick In what possible scenario they would reveal more of this game, do you honestly expect this game to be released by new years? You should know better to temper your expectations for a game not coming out til 2027 with the likelihood we aren’t going to get anything til pokemon day
@Im_The_Bookwyrm@JoeMerrick It’s always been like this for preorders. Metroid Prime 4 is a good example of this where it’s available for pre order sometime after its announcement in spite being years before it’s release.
@SerebiiNet I had a strong feeling it be a 2027 release given a new generation of Pokemon games doesn’t typically come out in nearly a year of new hardware. Look forward to seeing more of it leading up to next year’s release.
@SerebiiNet It’s special moments like this what makes it worth appreciating what we have and be hopeful of the greater things to come. Happy 30th anniversary Pokémon!
@JoeMerrick It really was nothing more than to showcase the franchise’s 30th anniversary, no different than what they done it 10 years ago for the 20th anniversary if people actually remembered. It was always an unrealistic expectation to expect anything more, let alone a new game reveal
@JoeMerrick That’s definitely setting too high of expectations, it be nice but I think people should be realistic that the superbowl isn’t exactly an ideal place to do such a thing. There’s a time and place to reveal a new game but this is definitely about the 30 years of Pokemon
@Semoahui@JoeMerrick@fastNcurious25 You do realized you’re comparing a game’s sales thats been out for over 2 month to a game that’s over 4 years old going on 5 right? That’s an extremely bad example if your goal is to prove it’s a flop, which in what world is here 12 million a flop?
@y3jczl@Pokenonymous1@JuiceMan_V@JoeMerrick Sheesh, if you just don’t like the games that much then it’s ok, not the end of the world. But who are you to demand how others should form their opinion? Just learn to respect others personal opinions and move on with your life, it’s not healthy behavior to be this obsessive
@GrayothGames@Cebalit@ItmeBoe@SerebiiNet Exactly, if $20 a year of buying something is a problem I be more concern about how to survive life before playing a video game
@Cebalit@ItmeBoe@SerebiiNet You got massive life problems if you find pay $20 a year is somehow infeasible, plus if you can’t afford $20 what makes you think anyone can afford the game?
@JoeMerrick It’s indeed technically correct, though Pokemon Home really complicates the narrative due to stating anything caught from BB academy and deposited into Home insist the Pokemon is from paldea instead of Unova. Really annoying Home can’t distinguish that detail
@JoeMerrick Either people needs to stay out of social media (we been given a date in advance so it’s not a surprise drop) or these platforms should implement a better spoiler category to further minimize this apparent issue. Otherwise that’s all on people for checking serebii tweets today
@lewssserart@JoeMerrick What’s the point of doing that? If not serebii posting about it others would just tweet it all over the platform anyway without care. Either way it would gotten the moment someone screenshots it and spoil all no matter what
@PokemonGoApp So basically you lied for over a month on the exact time and didn’t bother clarifying until well past the deadline? This is truly the prime example of Niantic having the poorest level of communication and lack of transparency along your endless bugs and screwups.
@JoeMerrick While there’s no guarantee it’ll be a hit, it’s unrealistic to proclaim a game is bad based on nonsense like file size. If it brothers ppl that much then wait until you see other’s gameplay impressions, it’s not like it’ll be gone forever if u don’t order it by launch date
@JoeMerrick Lol I’m convinced ppl are always gonna make excuses to complain no matter what, regardless of development time, the file size, or how good its presentation is. Why can’t ppl wait until it launch and either see others play it or play it yourself before judging a game anymore?
@JoeMerrick Just wanna say thank you @JoeMerrick for continuing to keep many people informed in spite being tired of dealing with this particular topic, hopefully everyone else who wants them will get theirs and you finally be able to take it easy
@JoeMerrick Was heading home after pogo raid day when I read about the restock on Serebii, hurry down over to GameStop and finally got my code without issues. This really made my day after being let down of missing out while out of town and right on time for my birthday to enjoy.
