@highchart It's not a lie my dear
I remember trying to do my internship in a government hospital in Lagos filled with 95% Yoruba
I wasn't taken simply because I was an Igbo girl
Unnecessary excuses were given just to turn me down
A woman boldly told me they won't accept cos I'm Igbo

Chemotherapy had left me so weak I could barely walk, yet I was still working because bills donβt stop for cancer. I collapsed at work one afternoon, and my boss found me in the bathroom unable to stand.
Instead of sending me home, she drove me to the ER herself. Her name was Rita, and Iβd only worked for her for eight months. While doctors treated my dehydration, Rita made calls. By the time I was released, sheβd organized the entire office to cover my work shifts and 1/3οΏΌ

Healthy relationships are not built by people who never disagree. They are built by people who refuse to let disagreements destroy what they have built together.
Never allow a temporary conflict to make you permanently dishonor a valuable relationship.

But maturity teaches us that disagreement is not disconnection.
You can be upset, offended, have unresolved issues and still be committed.
A disagreement should not make you forget the value of the person you love.
I was born with sickle cell disease.
I had Crisis after crisis, constant pain, multiple organ damage by age 28. Doctors said I wouldnβt see 35.
During one brutal episode, I prayed like never before while hooked up to morphine. The pain vanished overnight.
Follow up tests showed my hemoglobin was normal. No sickle cells. Geneticists ran every test, markers for the disease had disappeared. I havenβt had a crisis in 4 years.
My hematologist calls me the walking miracle file.
You have to believe that there is God.
