@BuzzPatterson I flew some of the practice missions for Just Cause down in FL. We'd enter the clouds as an organized 5-ship formation, and come out as random chaos. Miracle we didn't have a mid-air collision. Debrief maint that the SKE wasn't working in the clouds and they said that was normal.

@BuzzPatterson I manned a C141 when a congressional budget committee flew in. AF brought a KC10, C130, and designated the most broke 141 on base to "show the committee airlift capabilities". A Major briefed us is was not about any one plane - he lied outright. It turned into a sh1tshow...

@BuzzPatterson I was at KCHS at the beginning of the C-17s arriving. Saw a Maint guy get severely reprimanded by an 06 for radioing in a fuel leak on one. They did not want news agencies listening to scanners to hear there were any problems at all.
