Breaking: I've uncovered an apparently unreported 2012 Al Jazeera article coauthored by Abdul El-Sayed that praises the Muslim Brotherhood's electoral success in Egypt and portrays the Islamist movement in remarkably flattering terms.

At the time, the Brotherhood-led bloc had just won approximately 47% of Egypt's parliamentary seats, while the ultraconservative Salafist Al-Nour bloc secured another 24%.

Together, Islamist parties controlled roughly 71% of the elected seats.

Yet El-Sayed and his coauthor (a Harvard scholar, because of course) enthusiastically described Egypt's political transformation as looking "more promising than ever."

They also argued that the Islamist parties' electoral successes reflected their domestic platforms and "histories of social justice" more than popular support for their Islamic ideologies.

El-Sayed wasn't merely celebrating the overthrow of Hosni Mubarak. He was expressing optimism about Egypt's political future AFTER the Muslim Brotherhood and Salafists had overwhelmingly won the parliamentary elections.

Ninety year old Eva Geller has died 11 months after sustaining serious injuries during last year’s Chanukah terror attack.

It is reported that she developed an infection as a result of her wounds and was admitted to hospital, where she passed away overnight.

Eva Geller, a 90-year-old Holocaust survivor from Hungary, has died in Sydney nearly a year after she was shot at a Hanukkah celebration at Bondi Beach.

Rabbi Aron Moss told Australia’s ABC that Geller regained the ability to walk after the shooting but never fully recovered. New South Wales police said they were working with the coroner’s office.

A Philadelphia boycott bicycle ride is targeting Jewish businesses in the hopes of intimidating them and ultimately expelling them.

Many Republicans will not recognise how poor economic policy like tariffs, corruption, and bad domestic optics contributed to their loss.

That would require introspection and accountability, so instead they will blame an external source, which will be foreign policy, in particular the Iran War. And so, by extension, they will blame Israel, and nothing will have been learned.

Palestinian terrorists released in hostage ransom may be set to speak at a conference in Canada.

"Liberated Palestinian Prisoners" is a term used in the past by the event's organizers to refer to released terrorists.
