@TalkinDevils82 Does it though? Noesen could be cooked, Bjugstad is barely an NHLer, Lombardi could be the 13th forward and Lenni could probably use some AHL time. Last thing we need is go through injuries and not have capable players coming up, which was Fitz’s M.O.

@JKFischer It was a real monkey paw’s situation. Getting Quinn keeps Tom as GM. If not getting Quinn got us Mehta (who would not have been available and likely taken the Toronto job), then so be it. We can win without Quinn with a competently built team, but not all with an idiot in charge.

@TheBrattPack63 Quinn is just a bonus at this point. If playing with his bros is secondary to him, then so be it. A terrible Devils team beat Minnesota with Quinn Hughes last year anyway.

@JamesNicholsNHL @AlexC_NJD Hellebuyck would’ve been awesome the first time Fitz had a chance to get him and bungled it. His tenure is just a list of bungles, not getting Quinn being the biggest. If Quinn re-signs with MIN, it will make Tom’s pathetic failure as a GM complete.
