The New York Times just ran a takedown of K-12 edtech. They named us as the exception.
"I'm intrigued, warily, by Skyler Carr's approach."
My mom has been describing me that way since I was twelve. So I'll take it.

🚀 We just crossed 1 million students.
It’s honestly hard to wrap my head around.
A lot of people still don’t really know what I do... so if you’re curious (or if you know a K–8 teacher who might love what we’re building), check this out 👇

We just finished filming training content for the coming year, and I got to show each clsss our gratitude in the form of pizza (my love language). #pizzaparty#edtech#jointhemission
Just… wow.
This is the space lab at Edgemont — the first public school we ever worked with. Even when our software barely worked, they believed in what we were building.
This is what it looks like when a school takes skill-building seriously. 🚀

So this happened.
I was invited to judge a student competition at Starborn Academy in SLC... and @DrSianProctor randomly walks in (first female commercial spaceship pilot and only black woman mission pilot).
I was full-on fanboying.
Looking for feedback! We’ve grown mostly through word of mouth, but organic growth = growth where you already are. So here’s my first attempt at a 30-sec ad. Frankensteined from 8 clips. If you don’t know what I do—does this help? Does it make you curious?

Two weeks of Florida in 20 seconds? Loved getting to meet up with Les Grands-parents halfway and introduce my favorite frenchies to one of my favorite places in the world.

Have you tried this?
Not totally sure how I feel about the Elon Musk part…
…but the rest? Honestly flattered—and it’s a lot to live up to.
Thanks @ChatGPT for the wild summary.

PSA - if you’re ever in Miami, eat at Palacio de los Jugos. It will be a spiritual experience. We usually avoid Miami when we visit Florida… except for when we venture in specifically to visit family or eat here. @palaciodlosjugo#remotework#miami#cubanfood#travelfamily
Huge thanks to Jordan School District for having me spend the day with their tech coaches! 🙌
Tech coaches are my kind of people—they’re already fluent in so many edtech tools, so we get to dive right in.

I try to spend a day each week in schools to see our tech in action & get real feedback. Got to visit Franklin Elementary, where they turned their resource room into a full-fledged space lab 🚀. Incredible space, amazing team, and the students crushed it!

@ucet is one of my favorite events to attend every year. It always feels like a reunion. The exhibitor next to me asked, "Do you know everyone here?"🤣 I wish! Sounds like a solid goal. #STEMeducation#handsonlearning#ucet
Huge thanks to the mEducation Alliance for inviting me to present at the STEM Symposium in Washington, DC this week! 🙌 I had the incredible opportunity to share our work with representatives from over 40 countries at George Mason University. 🌟
