Following his call at the 28th Horn of Africa Initiative in Washington, D.C., to prioritize borderlands for sustainable development, IGAD’s Executive Secretary, H.E @DrWorkneh, hosted Mandera County Governor, H.E Hon. @MohamedAKhalif and Kenya’s Ambassador to Ethiopia, H.E Galma Boru, at the IGAD offices in Addis Ababa.

The meeting focused on the Horn of Africa Gateway Project, which aims to connect communities, boost trade, and expand economic opportunities along the Ethiopia–Kenya border, reinforcing ongoing efforts toward regional integration.

24 avril 2026 | La Première Ministre, Cheffe du Gouvernement, Judith Suminwa Tuluka, a reçu une délégation du MEDEF conduite par Yves Jégo, composée de représentants de 25 entreprises françaises venus explorer les opportunités d’investissement en RDCongo.

Les échanges ont porté sur des priorités stratégiques visant à renforcer la coopération économique entre la RDCongo et la France :

• Attractivité du marché congolais et de son espace régional
• Intérêt pour les secteurs de l’énergie, des infrastructures et de la logistique
• Promotion de partenariats durables et gagnant-gagnant

Dans son intervention, la Cheffe du Gouvernement a réaffirmé la disponibilité des autorités à accompagner les investisseurs et à améliorer le climat des affaires.

La RDCongo confirme ainsi son positionnement comme un hub régional offrant un accès à un marché élargi de plusieurs centaines de millions de consommateurs.
