Texas just dethroned California as home to the most Fortune 500 companies, 57 and counting.
Almost like policies matter.
The Lone Star State's low-tax, pro-business environment continues to attract companies and people alike. Come on down!
Election day arrives whether litigation is finished or not. TPPF's @RealJoshFindlay weighs in on redistricting, election administration, and why certainty matters as elections draw near.

There is a version of Washington where political opponents are still Americans first. The Congressional Baseball Game is one of the few places left where that version is still visible. Taking the field tonight to honor that tradition and extend our winning streak with colleagues turned friends. 🇺🇸
Vistra is expanding reliable, local, gas-fueled power generation in the PB. Upgrade local transmission in the region as authorized in the PBRP. A statewide transmission plan deserves an in-depth and thoughtful discussion in the 90th when the property rights of thousands of Texans are at stake.
This morning, TPPF Senior Fellow @AmmonSBlair testified before the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution and Limited Government on the conflict between the Constitution and political Islam/ Sharia Law.
TX House Members: "The security of our border and the safety of our communities cannot depend solely on who occupies the White House. Fortunately, the Constitution provides a remedy that ensures states are not left defenseless if and when future administrations attempt to return us to open-border policies."
Honored to moderate today's panel on "Shared Seams" discussing US-Canada security. What a ROCKSTAR line up with Mark Morgan, Roy Boyd, Calvin Chrustie & @AmmonSBlair. To defeat our enemy, we must know and understand it. #NorthAmericaSummit@TPPF
We are proud to see the Texas GOP Caucus backing @RepArrington’s H. Res. 50, which affirms states’ authority to act in self-defense regardless of federal shifts in DC. TPPF supports this critical legislation and the growing momentum behind it.
The Framers understood that a state cannot be left at the mercy of a federal government that refuses to do its job when there’s an invasion at its border.
Rep. @JodeyArrington's H.Res. 50 affirms what the Constitution already guarantees—when the federal government abandons the border, states have every right to defend their citizens. Texas GOP Caucus stands firmly behind this.
NEW: @GregAbbott_TX's willingness to to hold Texas cities accountable for sanctuary policies and tie state funding to compliance is both strategic and appropriate. State funds come with responsibilities, and local governments cannot expect to receive taxpayer dollars while simultaneously resisting state law. If such policies are allowed to stand unchecked, they risk setting precedents that erode statewide standards. More👇
TPPF joined others in support of the Stronger Workforce for America Act, with CEO Greg Sindelar underscoring the need to strengthen workforce participation and connect more Americans to opportunity.

TPPF backs the Stronger Workforce for America Act, emphasizing that boosting workforce participation is key to economic growth & social stability, as millions of jobs remain unfilled. It promotes state-driven solutions to expand opportunity & strengthen the labor force.
The American workforce is at a turning point—but our current job training programs aren't keeping up. Today, the Committee passed H.R. 8210, A Stronger Workforce for America Act of 2026, to modernize our workforce development programs and help more Americans find good jobs.
🚨What’s the point of talks if the IRGC is calling the shots?
Chuck DeVore warns diplomacy may just be the prelude:
“You’re likely to see an enormous amount of ordnance being dropped on Iran… within just a few hours.”
Protecting Texas children is one of the most serious responsibilities of lawmakers, and we will treat it that way—especially in an increasingly digital world.
After recently speaking with Rep. @donfortexas, I was alerted to a graphic, first-person shooter game on the online platform Roblox recreating the tragedy at Robb Elementary and targeting young users. That alone is indefensible. But it’s not an outlier—it reflects a broader failure to prevent violent, explicit, and predatory content from reaching children.
Today, I issued an additional interim charge directing the House Committee on State Affairs to take a hard look at these failures and hold platforms like Roblox accountable—focusing on content moderation, age verification, and prevention of exploitation and predatory contact between minors and adults.
When nearly 40 percent of Roblox’s 144 million daily users are under 13, there must be zero tolerance for weak safeguards and indifferent oversight. Platforms that allow content glorifying real-world violence are putting children at risk.
The Texas House will not look the other way while companies aimed at children permit—and profit from—this kind of environment. Accountability is coming, and we will be ready to act.
I am grateful to Rep. McLaughlin for raising awareness of this issue, and to Chairman @KingForTexas and the State Affairs committee for taking this on and working toward better protections for our next generation.

Texans are affirming state's authority to act in self defense, ensuring they are able to withstand federal policy shifts.
We were proud to work with @RepArrington to help advance this effort & ensure states are not left w/o options when federal enforcement falls short.
This morning, TPPF’s Senior Fellow Mandy Drogin is testifying before the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution and Limited Government on the harmful impacts of Plyler v. Doe and its effects on America’s schools and students.
It was great joining @RodandGregShow today to discuss the SAVE America Act and why critics, including Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, are wrong to label it Jim Crow 2.0. The bill ensures that only eligible American citizens participate in federal elections, which is why Congress should pass it before the midterms.
